Life can get super busy between work, kids, family, stress, long days and things not always going to plan or how you expected 🥷🏻👨🏼‍💻👩🏼‍💻

It’s in times like this training can feel like the last thing we want to be doing, but when times like this arise we need to remember why we started 🤘🏻🤘🏻

We started because want to feel stronger 👌🏻
We started because we want to have more energy 👌🏻
We started because want to feel more confident in ourself 👌🏻
We started because we want to play with our grandkids and kids 👌🏻
We started because we want longevity in life 👌🏻

Showing up and putting in the work during the busy times and when we really don’t feel like it are the sessions that make us the most proud 🥹

It’s not about being perfect all the time, and smashing every session and hitting PB’s but just continuing to show up and get it done when life gets hard 👊🏻👊🏻

Training, health and fitness should and need to be part of our lives, not consume our life but just be part of it. ✊🏻✊🏻

One day we will look back and realise all the decisions we made to eat well, train when we didn’t feel like training and stay consistent in hard times really did change our life ❤️

So this is just that little reminder that if you
are struggling for motivation, or going through something tough, keep pushing and showing up

Who says getting older means slowing down?

Age is just a number. Strength has no expiry date.

This is what consistency looks like.
Strong at every age. 🔥💪

Winter is where consistency gets tested. 🥶

When it’s cold, dark, and the alarm goes off before the sun comes up, motivation is usually nowhere to be found. That’s exactly why turning up matters. 💪🏻

Anyone can train when the weather is perfect and energy is high. The real progress happens on the mornings when you’d rather stay in bed, hit snooze, and tell yourself you’ll do it tomorrow. 😬

The people who keep showing up through winter aren’t necessarily more motivated. They’ve just made a decision that their goals are bigger than their excuses. 👏🏻

Every winter session is a deposit into the person you’re trying to become. Every workout completed when you didn’t feel like it builds discipline, resilience, and confidence. 😤

Don’t focus on being motivated. Focus on being consistent. 🤩

Spring will come. The warmer mornings will return. When they do, you’ll either be starting again or you’ll be grateful you never stopped. 🥳

Keep turning up. Keep doing the work. Your future self will thank you for it. 😤🤩🥳💪🏻👌🏻🙏🏻

Most people start training because they want to look better. 🤩

The truth is as we age our goals change and we need to keep training because we realise it’s one of the best investments we can make in our future. 💪🏻

Strength training isn’t just about building muscle, it’s also about building a body that can carry you through life. 🏋🏼‍♂️🏋

As we move into our late 30s, 40s and beyond, we naturally begin to lose muscle mass and bone density if we don’t challenge our bodies with weights or resistance training 👊🏻

Regular resistance training can help:
💪 Build and maintain lean muscle
🦴 Increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis
❤️ Improve heart and metabolic health
⚡ Boost energy levels and everyday function
🧠 Improve mental health and confidence
🔥 Support a healthy metabolism and make it easier to maintain a healthy weight
🤸 Improve balance, mobility and reduce the risk of falls as we age

For women, strength training is one of the greatest things we can do and especially important during perimenopause and menopause. It helps combat the natural decline in oestrogen, which is linked to muscle loss, reduced bone density and changes in body composition. Lifting weights can help you stay stronger, healthier and more independent for years to come. 🙌🏻

For men, resistance training supports muscle maintenance and works alongside good sleep, nutrition and healthy body weight to help preserve healthy testosterone levels as we age. It also helps maintain strength, performance and overall quality of life. 👌🏻

The goal isn’t just to live longer, It’s to stay strong enough to play with your kids, carry your grandkids, travel, hike, lift your own shopping, get up off the floor with ease, and enjoy life without your body holding you back. 🙏🏻

You’re not training just for today.
You’re training for the next 30 or 40 years. ⏰
