🩸🎉HAPPY FATHER’S DAY FROM MJFNC

Today we celebrate not only the dads, but all the incredible father figures who play such an important role in the lives of our young people — dads, grandads, stepdads, uncles, brothers, mentors, coaches and those special people who simply step up and are always there. ❤️

At Melton Junior Football Netball Club, our father figures are such a huge part of what makes our club what it is. They’re the ones coaching, volunteering, running water, helping on game day, driving to training, standing on the sidelines, offering encouragement after a tough game and celebrating every little win.

More importantly, they help shape the young footballers and netballers who come through our club — teaching them about respect, resilience, teamwork, commitment and being a good person, both on and off the field and court.

To every father figure within our MJFNC community, thank you for the time you give, the example you set and the support you provide. The impact you have reaches far beyond football and netball, and our club is stronger because of you.

📣OUR FIRST COACH APPOINTMENT FOR SEASON 2027! 🩸🏉

Melton Junior Football Netball Club is incredibly excited to announce our first coaching appointment for season 2027 — and what better way to start than with the coach who will lead our Girls Football Team — Paul! 🙌

Paul is certainly no stranger to MacPherson Park. He is currently our Junior Development Officer and has been an important part of our junior football program, coaching several different age groups over the years.

His passion for developing junior footballers has also seen him take his coaching beyond the club. This year, Paul was selected to coach the RDFL Junior Girls Interleague side, and most recently he has been appointed Assistant Coach of the Under 16 Girls Calder Cannons for their upcoming Futures Program — an incredible achievement! 👏

With his experience, knowledge and genuine passion for junior development and girls football, we couldn’t think of anyone better to get our girls program up and running for season 2027! 💪🏉

This is an exciting new chapter for MJFNC, and we can’t wait to see Paul help build a team where our girls can learn, develop, make new friends and most importantly, love playing footy!
