This weekend is a special one. With 29 of our teams playing at home, our fields will be buzzing from morning through to the evening.

But one team has been waiting all season for this moment...

Our First Grade Women are finally coming home

This incredible group represents everything our club stands for. They are mothers, volunteers, mentors, hardworking women, aspiring athletes, and role models. They balance family, work, and community, yet still pull on the Bears jersey each week with pride and passion.

Now it's our turn to show up for them.

Let's line the sidelines, make some noise, and give our First Grade Women the home crowd they deserve as they take the field. Let's go BEARS.

Our U8 Red Cubs have been embracing new habits off the field, proving that development goes far beyond game day.

The Werribee Bears are incredibly grateful for dedicated volunteers like Coach Misi, who goes above and beyond to create opportunities that help shape our future athletes. Through experiences like these, our young Bears are building healthy lifestyle habits, developing confidence, discipline, and preparing themselves to be game-ready both physically and mentally.

What a fantastic way to finish the first half of the season! Thank you to all of our players, families, volunteers and supporters for another great weekend of rugby league.

As we head into the school holidays and our BYE weekend, we wish everyone a safe and well-deserved break. We can't wait to see our Bears back refreshed and ready for the second half of the season!

As you arrive to your plying fields, REMEMBER:

🐻🏉 ROUND 7 WRAP-UP 🏉🐻

Rain, mud, and Melbourne's winter weather couldn't stop the Bears this weekend!

Our First Grade Women travelled to Waverley and secured a dominant 50–0 victory, while our U18 Boys came away with a hard-fought 16–12 win. Our U14 Boys showed plenty of determination, our U16 girls postponed match & Second Grade Men enjoyed a BYE week and volunteered their time at the cave.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, families, supporters, and visiting clubs who braved the conditions and helped make the day a success.

We'd also like to thank our visiting clubs for their patience while we managed unexpected plumbing issues at our grounds. We're pleased to share that the issue has now been resolved.
