A huge congratulations to Matty Denny OLY , Jessica Hull OLY , Eleanor Patterson and Brooke Buschkuehl on being selected in Australia’s 86-strong Athletics Team for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Matt heads to his third Commonwealth Games in the discus, looking to defend his Commonwealth crown after silver at Gold Coast 2018 and gold at Birmingham 2022.

Jess returns for her second Commonwealth Games campaign, set to take on the Mile and 5000m double as one of Australia’s standout medal prospects.

Eleanor brings serious major championship pedigree to the high jump, returning to Glasgow where she won Commonwealth gold in 2014, before claiming silver at Birmingham 2022.

Brooke earns selection for her third Commonwealth Games in the long jump, chasing a long-awaited gold after silver medals at both Gold Coast 2018 and Birmingham 2022, all while continuing her remarkable return to form as a new mum.
