What a weekend watching seven Muddies represent North West in the inaugural AFL Masters Vic Metro Women’s Masters Cup.

A tense and tight tussle saw NW come out on top, snatching the lead in the final minutes of the game. Beating the South East 3.2.20 to 3.4.22.

Our very own Lani Verde was named best on ground, with Deb kicking the opening goal and Lampy hitting the scoreboard in the second half.

All seven Muddies represented the NW with immense skill and competitiveness.

A big shout out to all our supporters who travelled down to Toorak Park. Definitely the largest and best contingent of supporters on the day who added so much to an awesome atmosphere 🤍🖤🤍🖤

This Sunday we celebrate Dom, who is running out for his 200th game of Master’s footy!

Dom started playing masters footy in 2010 for the Northern Saints, with stints at Craigeburn and Northside. He joined the Muddies in 2023 and is a key figure in our 50’s and 55’s teams.

Be sure to get to Mudlark Park on Sunday to cheer Dom on in this massive milestone game 🖤🤍

Records are meant to be broken and today our amazing Amy has done just that, kicking 11 goals and lighting up the forward line all game with strong marks and fabulous forward craft.

Amy leads the way across the division with 23 goals. With Mudlarks featuring across the top three positions 💪
