Our Valkyries are heading south this arvo take on KCR’s Sovereigns as part of KCR’s home teams event.

It all kicks off at 2.30pm at Springers Leisure Centre on Cheltenham Rd, Keysborough. Doors are open from 2pm. Details in the event page.

MRDA Madness done and dusted, and what a day we had!

On Saturday, VMRD and KCR hosted our great friends from
Sydney MRDA for a thrilling double-header that didn’t disappoint!

Up first, our friends from Sydney played a nailbiter against KCR’s Sovereigns before jumping back on the track to take on our very own VMRD Valkyries. The games were fast, hard, and full of extraordinary skill (and many hugs).

Huge thanks to our co-hosts at KCR, and to the Sydney team for popping down to Melbourne to make this all happen. Thanks, as well, to our wonderful crews of officials and volunteers who ran the show beautifully.

We look forward to retuning the favour in Sydney soon!

Here they are! Your VMRD Valkyries, all set to take the track tomorrow against Sydney MRDA in a double-header like no other!

Kicking off at 2pm, MRDA Madness will see visitors Sydney taking on the KCR Sovereigns at 2.30, followed by the Valkyries at 5pm.

It’s all happening at the VRDL Factory, Stott St in Preston!

If that’s not all, we’ll have some of the state’s best officials helping the day run smoothly!

We could not be prouder of our VMRD teammates who are representing Australia as Wizards of Aus this week at the 2026 in Orleans, France.

The passion and dedication of this group is invaluable at VMRD, and we can’t wait to watch them—and the rest of the tremendous Wizards squad—on the world stage.

If that wasn’t reason enough to be proud, also representing at the World Cup are Velocity-Raptor (bench, ) and B-Sting ._b (skater, ). These legends have a few world cups behind them already and we are so excited to watch them do their thing in France.
