✨Highlights from our most recent BTBB Club Championships 🥋 🤜

We had over 60 students compete at this year’s competition with the standard shown being excellent, the support from the volunteers was brilliant, the food assortment was the best we’ve ever had and the set up and pack up were very smooth and efficient. Congratulations to everyone who competed and thank you to everyone who helped.

Our 7:30 Adults and Teens class at the Balwyn North Dojo consistently brings positive attitude and dedication to their training each week.

Last night’s class focused on movement and coordination for self defence.

Just one of the countless valuable skills that get taught in this class each week.

Wishing all our athletes goodluck for Sunday’s BTBBGK CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS! This annual tournament is always an amazing day of competition, community and togetherness. We cannot wait to see you all there!

Our objective of this tournament is to allow all our students an entry into competition which for many of our members is the most rewarding part of karate. Whether it is your first competition or you’ve competed before, we hope to see as many of you as possible!

If you are not competing, show your support for the club and come for a sausage or one of the many bake stalls available on the day while you watch the competition… every dollar raised goes towards our brand new mats at the Ashburton dojo!

Photos will be taken throughout the event of every competitor and available to download FOR FREE via our private Facebook group!

A special congratulations needs to go to Erica Lo and Rebecca Wibowo who were selected to represent Australia at the Junior World Championships in Poland later in the year. There is no level of competition above that without leaving the planet. These two young ladies are outstanding competitors, ambassadors for the sport and human beings.

The support crew/family members are beyond compare. The positivity, encouragement, photography and hard work behind the scenes make all of this possible. Congratulations to everyone, whether wearing a Gi, tracksuit or screaming from the stands. Outstanding team effort.

OH YEAH!!!
