Its very rare a player becomes a legend at 2 Clubs, the word great sometimes is used too loosely but not in this case, Chris Smith a PV & league best & fairest winner, captain, Premiership player, the coach who led us out of the doldrums, President, Mentor to many & the list goes on. Chris has just been named in the best 22 players to ever play for Keilor Park FC in its greatest team in its 50 years of existence. Chris has been the greatest influence at our club and obviously left the same impression at Keilor Park FC, congratulations Chris and thanks for everything you’ve done for football & The Plenty Valley Superules Club.

IS THIS AN AUSTRALIAN AFL FIRST?
This Sunday club legend Noel “Uncle” Cartledge will take the field with his son Jason for Plenty Valley Superules over 50’s side this Sunday, 12.45 pm at War Memorial Park Greensborough against Wydenvale. Noel who still plays every game at 76 years of age has built a reputation over many years for his absolute toughness which still holds true today. Congratulations to both Noel & Jason on this incredible achievement.

Join Us This Sunday for Family Day at the Club!
Get down to the club this Sunday for our Family Day — with plenty happening for everyone from around 12:30pm onwards!
We’ll have activities both inside and outside to keep the kids entertained, plus a coffee cart on site where you can purchase a barista-made coffee to help keep you warm.
All ladies attending will receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival and will also go into the draw for our special door prize. Be sure to see Mish for your tickets! There’ll also be a dedicated ladies’ area by the fire — the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the afternoon together.
And if that’s not enough excitement, one of the club’s true stalwarts, Noel “Uncle” Cartledge, will be pulling on the boots in our Over 50’s alongside his son Jason. Uncle will also be taking on captaincy duties for the day!

Most of our members are in their 30’s, 40’s & 50’s, 3 teams & success, but it all started with these guys, honoured throughout day at our life members day last week, catch to catchup with so many legends, thanks to all those who came and a bigger thanks for all your contributions throughout the years.
