A great result for our Senior Men's side, who claimed a deserved 3-2 victory over Greenvale United.

The boys took the lead in the first half after capitalising on a loose ball and were rewarded for a strong start by doubling the advantage with a well-earned second goal. However Greenvale managed to pull one back just before the break from a set-piece delivery.

The second half started much like the first, with our lads causing all sorts of problems with their pace and movement in attack. Their efforts were rewarded with a third goal midway through the half, restoring our two-goal cushion. It looked more likely that we'd score a fourth, but a miskick at the back gifted the opposition a lifeline.

That set up a nervy final 15 minutes, with Greenvale launching wave after wave of long balls into the box. However, the boys stood tall, and held on for a thoroughly deserved win.

Well done, lads. A huge three points.

What a crazy game of football!

The boys produced one of their most organised and disciplined performances of the season, racing out to a commanding 6-0 lead and looking in complete control.

However, a couple of forced substitutions late in the match, combined with an injury to our goalkeeper, destabilised the side and left us to battle the final 15 minutes with just 10 men.

Old Trinity fully capitalised on the situation, scoring four late goals to make the final scoreline much closer than the match itself reflected.

An outstanding 75 minutes of football, followed by a disappointing final 20. Plenty to learn from, but we'll gladly take the three points! 💚

Wyndham FC Women's Season summary.
State League 6 North West

Our Women's team continues to go from strength to strength in the State League 6 North West competition, currently sitting comfortably in mid-table after a season filled with hard-fought performances and well-earned victories.

What has been most pleasing is the continued growth of a squad that has largely remained together over the past few years, with a couple of important additions strengthening the group. The benefits of consistency are clear to see, as the team continues to improve year after year, building strong chemistry, understanding, and belief in one another.

The ladies produced another outstanding performance today, securing a confident 7-2 victory. Once again, Ehki led the way on the scoresheet, continuing her excellent goalscoring form. However, this result was built on a true team effort, with every player contributing through their hard work and determination.

Congratulations to all involved. Keep up the fantastic work ladies. There's still plenty more to come!

After last week’s no-show and heavy defeat, our Senior Men responded with the attitude and effort we expected, pushing promotion contenders Roxburgh Park United all the way.

An unfortunate early penalty put us behind, and despite creating plenty of chances, a costly Goalkeeping error saw the visitors take a two-goal lead. The boys showed great character to fight back, hitting the post and crossbar and creating enough opportunities to get something from the game.

We kept coming, but another turnover was punished, leaving us chasing again. It was consistent attacking pressure until the end but it wasnt to be. A controversial finish to rub salt in the wounds.

Great spirit shown by the lads which we hope to build on and to bring into the next match. 👏

A frustrating draw for the Senior Men today.

It was a largely one-sided contest, with the game played almost entirely in our attacking half. Unfortunately, we once again failed to make the most of our chances and paid the price.

Despite our goalkeeper having no saves to make all game, a poorly defended corner at the front post proved costly.

That's football.

We regroup, and move on to the next one.
