The boys are one win away from another NBA Rising Stars Invitational Grand Final, but there’s plenty of work still to do.

Tonight we take on Kyungbock Secondary High School in what should be another tough matchup. The boys have been building nicely throughout the tournament and now it’s time to see what they’ve got.

NBA Rising Stars Invitational – Game Day

It’s game day in Singapore as our Berwick College Basketball Academy boys tip off their NBA Rising Stars Invitational campaign against Bukit Jalil Sports School.

After earning the right to represent Australia by winning the national qualifier, the boys are excited to test themselves against some of the best school basketball programs from across the Asia-Pacific region.

The journey begins.

Our Berwick College Basketball Academy NBA Rising Stars team has officially departed for Singapore to compete in the NBA Rising Stars Invitational against some of the best school basketball teams from across the Asia-Pacific region.

After earning qualification by winning the Australian tournament earlier this year, the boys now have the opportunity to represent both Berwick College and Australia on the international stage.

A huge thank you to the families, staff and teammates who have supported the group throughout their journey. We can’t wait to follow the boys throughout the week and see how they represent our Academy both on and off the court.

Singapore, here we come.

VSSC State Finals – Intermediate Boys Division 1

A terrific day for our Intermediate Boys Division 1 team at the VSSC State Finals held at State Basketball Centre.

The boys battled their way through the pool rounds, with their only defeat coming against Rowville by just 4 points. Their strong performances throughout the day earned them a rematch with Rowville in the Grand Final.

Berwick led by 4 points at halftime and looked in control, but after a long day of basketball the boys ran out of legs in the second half, eventually going down by 7 points.

A disappointing result in the final, but a performance the group can be incredibly proud of. To finish as State runners-up is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the effort, growth and commitment this group has shown throughout the year. We look forward now to Champions Cup and improve in areas we need to get better.

Congratulations to all players and staff on a great campaign.
