✅ Pre-season immersion test done ✅
All crews in Offshore Racing need to complete annual immersion tests.
This entails:
👉 Crew strapped into a cockpit with our helmet on.
👉 Flipped upside down & fully immersed in water.
👉 Unbuckle ourselves and exit the cockpit.
Sounds easily, but when you’re upside down, disorientated, with a helmet on (which gets heavy when it’s wet) and you’re holding your breath… it’s unnerving. But, it’s all about safety and preparation.
Now let’s go racing… 💪
