We are thrilled to announce that the 2026 Victorian Sailing Awards will be hosted by Dee Mason.

Dee is an experienced MC, broadcaster and podcaster with deep roots in the Australian sailing community. A member of McCrae Yacht Club since 1974, Dee is a former Chair of the Australian Women’s Keelboat Regatta and has been its Host/MC at RMYS for more than a decade. She has worked alongside Karyn Gojnich as host of the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron’s LOTS Regatta for four years, and hosted the Royal Brighton Yacht Squadron’s 150th Anniversary Gala, along with numerous regatta and club presentation nights. Dee brings a warm, engaging and down-to-earth style to the stage, with a genuine love of sailing and the people and stories behind the sport.

Another great Sailing Network Meeting today was held at Black Rock Yacht Club. It was great to have around 20 people in attendance across 14 clubs.

It was an afternoon filled of conversations around collaboration, events, courses and sharing new ideas.
