Not too late! We have some spots left for the upcoming Christmas in July and we'd love to see some more members get involved!

Saturday July 25, doors open 18:30. You'll need to RSVP so we know for catering (hoping to finalize numbers in the next week or two, so get into it!)

You now can confirm your seats two ways! By paying at the bar next time you're in the club (make sure you jot your name down and they keep a receipt) or by transfering the funds to our club account and entering your name and Xmas in the reference.

Another fab, fun Sunday arvo trivia session at ABC on Sunday 5th. Next Trivia arvo is Sunday 19th July. We welcome all teams to have a go. A number of family groups with quite young children enjoyed getting together, have a social catch up and all of that. We had a "golden bowl" challenge for a nice bottle of bubbles, we've got some very good future ABC bowlers getting into the swing of it!
Thanks to all the local Trivia fans who support these events, it's great fun and we enjoy seeing you!

Cheap drinks all arvo long (got to love those bowlo prices!) & BYO food or order from neighbouring restaurants. Spilling out into Alphington Park, there's plenty of space and a huge playground for the kids.

There's a great job going on from a bowler doing a 50 hour bowling marathon in aid of the Black Dog Institute. He's 32 hours in so far and still going strong.

Always good playing bowls at Alphington, and our natural grass greens are playing very nicely just at the moment..
Yesterday we hosted teams from DouttaGalla BC and City of Melbourne BC.
This is for the Melbourne Inner City Winter Bowls season.
Some great bowls all round, always a terrific sport to play all year round!

Don't forget we are open today for Trivia (free entry) and welcoming more teams for some extra competion. Singles and pairs? Come along and we will get you a team together, no worries!
With the lovely weather today we also welcome barefoot bowlers if that's your go.

It's about that time to start making plans for this coming Sunday!

Ongoing fortnightly, we are so excited for Sunday Sessions Trivia on again at ABC this Sunday, the 21st of June. Starts at 2pm. Was a great success last session, so be sure to book in advance to secure a table, however walk ins are welcome if room available. Goes for about 2 hours with a golden bowl opportunity to break up the time!

Hope to see some returns and newbies alike. Prizes are on offer and lots of laughs to be had.

We had 2 great matches at home yesterday v our mates over at Richmond Union BC & East Ivanhoe BC. As a result we are pleased we won both games and now move onto the semi final rounds of the Winter Pennant for this region of Melbourne.
Good competitive games with both experienced bowlers and some newbies getting involved, then a catch up sausage sizzle after the game, a chat, and a few drinks. It's a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Looking forward to next phase of the finals and hoping for more ABC success!

Always a fun game to play, and a bit of practice on a Friday arvo is a good way to get your game into shape. We are playing winter series pennant at home today from around 12.
