Saturday bowls training for new and returning ABC bowlers is a thing..
except this week it's not! Well if you're a bowls desperado there is a social bowls gathering on Saturday from 2.00pm ish, but no official training. We are saving ourselves for SUNDAY with our 2025/26 AGM from 10am, to follow a members social lunch for AGM attendees
and then the 2026/27 kick off social bowls gather/ training for all our team and new starters from around 1.30pm on Sunday arvo.
Please come to our AGM and see what's going on at ABC!

Congratulations to our ABC Life Member, Mark Perry who has just happened to be a 2026 club Champion up in Noosa! Mark made a huge contribution to ABC over many years as Secretary and club Chairperson, and as a bowler on many levels.
So good that he is going so well up there and we congratulate him!
Mark is a continuing member, and is also a loyal club sponsor with the Krush cycle cleansing products, which is very much appreciated.
Next time you're out ABC way Mark T Perry come in and tell us your bowls secret!

Season 26/27 summer pennant practice has commenced at ABC!
Fantastic to see our Naylor Green with all rinks full for our first official practice session on Saturday afternoon. This will continue, plus extra sessions during the week from around 4pm.
Come along and say g'day!
Great to see many returning club members, some others contemplating a move or locking in and signing up with our club.

Also a couple of "brand new to the game" players taking up the best lawn sport you will find!
Our youngest bowler is a mere 9 years old and oldest is well a fair bit more than that.
For those out there who are tossing up the idea that they can wait a few years till they start..

Footy Season is getting to the very pointy end and the summer pennant season is almost upon us.

Trivia this Sunday Arvo!! What?!?

We've been hosting Sunday trivia fortnightly for the last couple months and it's been an absolute blast -- so wonderful having so many people come and support, from all different age groups. Due to AGM season, we need to shift the fortnightly pattern by a week.

THEREFORE - SUNDAY TRIVIA 2-4:30 WILL BE RUNNING THIS SUNDAY, 9/8. It will then resume being fortnightly from there ( ie 23/8, 6/9).

We haven't shifted it yet on the link, but come on down and try your hat at some trivia! Bring your friends, or come solo and join a table! All are welcome.

Don't forget!!! It's TRIVIA SUNDAY this week, 2pm and you're welcome!
We are getting some regular teams lining up and having some amazing fun. Bring your mates, meet your neighbours!
