After a highly competitive trial process featuring an outstanding group of young cricketers, we are excited to announce the our Victorian Sub District Cricket Association Craig Shield Squad for the 2026/27 season.

The quality of talent on display made selection incredibly difficult, and we thank every player and family who participated throughout the process.

Congratulations to the players selected to represent Caulfield Cricket Club. We look forward to seeing what this talented group can achieve while representing the the club with pride, passion, and sportsmanship.

Craig Shield Update

Expression of Interest has closed and successful trial applicants have been emailed.

Please find below a couple of brief coach bios, but there are plenty of other coaches coming down

Luke Gandy:
Assistant Coach of our Senior Side, will lead our Craig Shield program this season. He joins from St Kilda Cricket Club, bringing Premier Cricket experience with St Kilda, Frankston and Dandenong, along with more than 10 years of junior coaching experience. A Level 2 accredited coach, Luke most recently guided St Kilda's Dowling Shield team to a premiership, with several players progressing to Victorian underage representative programs

Jason Cox:
Owner of High Performance Cricket. Strength & Conditioning Coach. Helps driven cricketers who feel stuck turn their hard work into results, through structure, mindset and athleticism.

Tom Deighton:
Senior Player at Caufield Cricket Club. Former player at STKCC . Wealth of experience on and off the field, with experience in leadership at Victorian Premier Cricket Level.

Caulfield cricket club are looking for Female cricketers to come and join our club for the coming season 2026/2027. Female cricketers of all standards encouraged to come and try.

Lock it in ... Our AGM is being held in just over 4 weeks, on Wednesday 29-JULY 2026, at the Mckinnon Hotel. There will also be a players meeting starting at 6.30pm before the meeting kicks off.

Jack comes to us as a high quality bat from St Kilda CC across the 1st and 2nd XI, giving us further depth to our top order.

The club is delighted to announce that will be joining us to play in season 2026/27 and beyond, coming across to us from St Kilda CC.

Luke brings a wealth of experience both on and off the field - with a strong background in coaching across a number of channels, Luke will also be joining us as an assistant coach to the senior teams and coach our Craig Shield side.
