By day: Executive Producer & Co-CEO at Malthouse Theatre, running the show on Melbourne’s biggest stages. By 6pm: sweating it out with the rest of us like everyone else.

Vivia’s trained through injury, through Mondays, through everything, and somehow still shows up with more class than the rest of us combined. She’s not just part of the furniture at BFT Fitzroy, she basically IS the studio at this point.

Sometimes it's hard to decide if you're a "sign up for a competition" person. But PODIUM isn't some scary comp with strangers, it's the same coaches who already know your name (and your excuses), the same crew who'll be yelling for you, just... testing your limits in a whole new way.

The double kettlebell clean is one of the most powerful movements in the BFT toolkit, and one of the most butchered. 😅
Coach Chris breaks it down step by step so you can nail it every single time.
Here's what to lock in:

➡️ Kettlebells together, stand a foot's reach back
➡️ Feet wide enough to get both bells between your knees
➡️ Watch off (or turned around) before you touch anything
➡️ Hinge, pack those shoulder blades, tilt the handles in
➡️ Hike powerfully, thumb to bum, and let the momentum do the work

Clean technique = more power, less injury, better results across every session.

Real talk though, we don't care if you're 2 mins late or 12. What matters is how you show up. Whether that's zen and composed or a beautiful mess of enthusiasm, we're here for it. But maybe don't distract from talk time 😅

Last Sunday, we brought the nervous system back online with Niamh, one of our members and a breathwork facilitator who knows her stuff. We're talking better sleep, faster recovery, and actually waking up feeling it, not just going through the motions. If you're smashing sessions but sleep's still a write-off, this is the one you needed. Niamh runs breathwork across Melbourne studios, working with high-performance athletes, but Sunday was all about meeting you wherever you're at. Thanks for showing up for your recovery. 🫁
