We know you’ve been thinking about it.
And here’s how we do it differently.
Before you jump into a class, we want to get to know you first.
Your training history.
Your goals.
Your fears.
What you actually want from this.
Because at CrossFit CBD, you’re not just “joining a gym.”
You’re stepping into a coached environment where standards matter and people care.
You’ll meet humans from all over the world who once stood exactly where you are.
You’ll experience real coaching.
Intentional programming.
Training that’s scalable, repeatable, and built for the long term.
And when you fully step into it?
Yes - it will change your life.
Head to our website.
Fill out the form.
Let’s talk.
We’ll take it from there.

This month’s Coffee with a Coach goes to Neha ♥️☕️
Coffee with a Coach exists to slow things down, to step away from the workout and make space for conversation, perspective, and connection beyond the whiteboard.
It’s not about fixing anything.
It’s about listening, learning, and reinforcing that people matter here. Not just performance.
We’re looking forward to sitting down with you, Neha.
Please keep an eye on your inbox for next steps.
A special mention this month to Linda Linda Sjöström and Esther Esther van Nieuwenhuizen and for joining the Coffee list for the very first time
This is what makes this place special.

Congratulations to Esther on officially earning her CrossFit Level 1 Certificate! 👏
One of the coolest things about our community is seeing athletes become students of the CrossFit methodology (and in the Netherlands with Wesley Cloos | CrossFit Seminar Staff | CM Benelux | Mentor no less!)
The Level 1 gives you the opportunity to look beneath the surface of the programming to understand the deeper why behind CrossFit.
Why we train constantly varied functional movements at high intensity.
Why mechanics come before consistency, and consistency before intensity.
Why we scale.
Why we repeat the basics.
Why we care so much about movement quality, measurable progress and developing fitness across a lifetime.
It’s an introduction to the design, structure and methodology that sits behind what we do every single day.
And one of our favourite parts is watching an athlete come back from their Level 1 and suddenly start making connections:
“Ohhh… THAT’S why we do that at CBD.”
Whether this leads Esther towards coaching one day or simply gives her an even deeper understanding of her own training, becoming more educated about the methodology you practise is an achievement worth celebrating.
We’re incredibly proud of Esther for investing in her education, asking more questions and continuing to grow her understanding of CrossFit.
This is how a deep love for CrossFit starts.
We’ve seen it many times. 👀♥️
We can’t wait to see where this journey takes her next.

There is something incredibly grounding about being in a room with people who have shaped CrossFit in so many different ways.
Some we’ve known for years.
Some we haven’t seen in more than a decade.
Some we’ve learned from, looked up to, worked alongside or been challenged by.
And some we’ve only just had the privilege of meeting.
After all these years of owning an affiliate, it would be easy to think you’ve found your way.
But weekends like this remind us how much there still is to learn and how important it is to keep putting ourselves back into the community that has given us so much.
And to remember that while every affiliate might look a little different, so much of what we care about is the same.
We came home with full hearts, full notebooks and an even deeper appreciation for the people who continue to move this community forward.
Thank you to everyone who had a hand in putting this weekend together, we are so very grateful to be a part of it. ♥️

“I never expected people would actually know and remember me.”
Of everything he shared with us at his six-month milestone, this one really stuck.
Because before the stronger body, the improved endurance and the confidence to push a little harder, something else had to happen first.
He had to feel like he belonged here.
To walk into a room and be greeted by name.
To have coaches who noticed him, knew what he was capable of and believed there was more there - particularly on the days he didn’t quite believe it himself.
Six months later, he tells us his endurance has almost doubled, he’s stronger, he’s seeing changes in his body and he’s learning that he’s capable of more than he thought.
But perhaps the most important change is that the person who was used to knowing everyone else now walks into a room where people know him too.
That’s the kind of progress we care about.
Because creating a sense of belonging isn’t separate from what we do here. It’s part of how people find the confidence to show up, try hard things and discover what they’re capable of.
Six months down.
More training, more growth and more memories to come, including a one-year milestone in the new gym.
We see you Dion Mitch Tj and we are so grateful that you’re here ♥️
