This is what a coached hour looks like.
Not just a workout.
A room with beginners, experienced athletes, first-timers and veterans all moving through the same session, each doing the version that’s right for them.
Because the goal isn’t chaos, its intention and progression.
Warm up with purpose.
Strength and skills that builds something.
A workout that means more than just a sweat.
And a coach watching the details the whole time.
This is the part of CrossFit most people never see, and the part that you feel when you come and experience it for yourself.
If you’ve never taken a CrossFit class before, this is your sign to start. Everyone should do CrossFit.

This is where everything is going to live!
And somehow… this is less than half the tenancy. 🤡

Six months ago, running hills were something Dee found really challenging. (and if you know Dee, you’ll know she’s a runner!)
Now she’s telling us she’s feeling more confident tackling them and the coolest part?
She didn’t join CrossFit to stop running.
She’s built strength, conditioning and fitness in the gym and started noticing it show up in the thing she already loves doing outside of it.
“The workouts are paying off.”

But progress is much easier to keep building when you actually want to keep showing up.
“The supportive community, coaching and encouragement from everyone at CrossFit CBD has made it much easier to stay committed and enjoy the process.”
Six months down.
Next stop: Dee’s one-year milestone in the new gym 😭🤍
Proud of you, Dee.

There are going to be days when training feels easy to say yes to.
And there are going to be days when you have already talked yourself out of it before you’ve even left work or got out of bed.
Coach David’s three things all come back to one idea: turn up and give yourself the opportunity.
The opportunity to train doesn’t disappear because you’re tired, sore, stressed or not feeling 100%. It might just look different that day.
That’s where coaching comes in.
You don’t need to walk through the doors already knowing how to modify the workout, what weight you should use or whether today is a day to push.
Turn up, tell us what’s going on and let us help you find the version of the day that still gets you where you need to go.
Because confidence isn’t only built on the days you feel strong. Sometimes it’s built on a random Tuesday when you really didn’t want to come in, did it anyway and walked out thinking:
“Yeah. I’m really glad I came.”
You will very rarely regret training but you have to give yourself the chance to find that out.
3 things Coach David wants to see athletes start doing.
Who’s next? 👀

It’s completely understandable to feel hesitant to start something new, especially when you’re not sure what to expect.
This is what you can expect from your first CrossFit class at CrossFit CBD.
A structured, coached, step-by-step experience designed to meet you where you’re at.
No guesswork.
No being left to figure it out alone.
No needing to “be fit first.”
You’ll be guided, you’ll be coached, you’ll know exactly what you’re doing and why and you’ll get a that first glance at how CrossFit is going to change your life.
Real coaching, real progression, real people and a room that’s ready for you. A community that is ready and waiting to meet you.
It’s go time! Come to CrossFit CBD 🙌🏽
Ceiling just went from 2.7m to 3.7m.
Now we’re talking!
One less question mark and a whole lot more possibility.
Thank you Tim from - everything just got a little bit more doable now you’re here 😮💨
POV: your coach makes you pretend to do chest-to-bar with a PVC pipe and then you get your first chest-to-bar.
Ok Coach Karl. You win.
What’s actually happening here 👇
Pull-up = elbows down.
Chest-to-bar = elbows back.
Tiny change.
The difference between getting one and staring at the bar wondering why your chest simply refuses to participate.
So instead of having everyone hang from the rig, get tired and try to figure it out mid-rep, Karl took the class to the floor.
PVC pipe > Mimic the movement > Feel the difference.
Then take it back to the bar.
You can literally SEE the moment it clicks on Lea’s face 😭
And then…First chest-to-bar.
IN CLASS.
This is your reminder that progress doesn’t only happen in PTs, skill sessions or because you went away and spent 47 minutes watching YouTube tutorials.
It happens in your normal Tuesday 4:15 class.
Because this is what coaching looks like here.
Every class. Every day.
