Another step towards our beautiful beach being more accessible!

On Saturday 21st of March, we welcomed Sheena Watt MP, Parliamentary Secretary for Emergency Services, and Hon Sonya Kilkenny MP, State Member for Carrum, Cr Sue Baker JP, Mayor of Frankston council, to Seaford Beach to help officially launch the Seaford Beach Accessibility Project alongside Life Saving Victoria and Seaford Life Saving Club.

The project includes a new equipment shed, beach access matting and a Mobi Beach Wheelchair, helping more people in our community enjoy Seaford Beach ⛱️

This project was made possible thanks to $53,000 in Victorian Government funding, alongside Council’s contribution of accessibility equipment 💌

It builds on the huge success of our Australia’s Most Accessible Beach pilot at Frankston Beach this summer.

Because everyone deserves the chance to enjoy the beach 🏖️

Thank you to the Victorian Government, Life Saving Victoria and the amazing volunteers from Seaford Life Saving Club for helping make our coastline more inclusive 🙏🏼
