Congratulations to Victoria's Arthur Papas on his appointment as Head Coach of Al-Ettifaq Club in the Saudi Pro League. 👏🏻

Papas previously coached in NPL Victoria with Oakleigh Cannons and Green Gully before enjoying successful spells with Newcastle Jets, Yokohama F. Marinos, Kagoshima United, Buriram United and most recently, Cerezo Osaka.

On Wednesday, more than 450 players aged 9–12 came together for a SAP Gala Day, with players travelling from metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria for a fantastic day of football.

Players enjoyed plenty of matches, learned from FV coaches and showcased their skills in a fun, engaging environment as the next generation of Victorian talent took centre stage. ⚽

It was a hard-fought contest at Larissa Reserve on Tuesday night, but the storied club proved too strong for North Sunshine Eagles, securing a 1-0 victory to book a mouth-watering New Balance Dockerty Cup Final clash with Heidelberg United.
