The club is delighted to welcome Nat I’Anson to the club!

Nat is a top order batter who joins us from North Ringwood, where he has been a mainstay of the senior side over the past five seasons. A Trollope premiership player, Nat has produced some crucial innings over the years, including a superb century against Lilydale last season.

We’re excited to have Nat and his partner Jacinta, join the bear cave and can’t wait to see him in action this season.

It is with great sadness that the club acknowledges the passing of Graham Murray on Saturday.

Graham was awarded Life Membership of the Cricket Club in 1994, becoming our 18th Life Member. He was also one of the select few to receive Life Membership of both the Cricket Club and the Football Club, a testament to his outstanding contribution and dedication to our community.

Our sincere condolences are extended to Graham’s wife, Lorraine, and to all of his family and friends during this difficult time.

Graham’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, 7 July, at 10:00am at Le Pine Funerals, Ferntree Gully. Following the service, everyone is warmly invited back to the clubrooms to share a drink and some finger food as we celebrate Graham’s life and remember his lasting contribution to our club.

Rest in peace, Graham. You will be greatly missed.

Join us on Saturday the 27th of June for a day of reminiscing and reconnection, as we celebrate 80 years of the Rosellas.

All 5 senior open aged teams will be playing on the day, with the 3 men’s teams wearing our heritage jumpers, featuring the famous red sash.

This will be our past players day, so share far and wide, if you’ve had a connection to The Basin over the years, we want to celebrate with you on the day.

Over the next 4 Thursdays, we are encouraging members past and present to join us in our Batterham rooms from 6pm-7pm, to help us piece together the day, we want your input to help us create a memorable event for our wonderful community!

Further to that, we are seeking pieces of our history to display on the day for all to see and enjoy, be it newspaper articles, awards, old playing gear or merchandise, you name it we want to know about it, if you think you may have something you’d like to loan, please feel free to bring it down over the coming weeks!
