JUNIOR PLAYERS WANTED

As our junior program goes from strength to strength, we are looking for extra players who are looking for an extra game or looking to play for the first time.

We have two U/16 teams and an U/18 team who are keen to welcome new players. This is a great opportunity to enhance your game in a fun and inclusive environment.

Our U/16 teams play in the RDCA on a Saturday morning (8:15-11:30) and our U/18 team plays in the BHRDCA on a Friday night (4:45-8:00).

It is with profound soundness, that we regret to inform our members of the passing of George Hetrel.

The legacy of George and Pat Hetrel within The Basin community will be spoken of for years to come, highlighted by their incredible one million dollar donation to upgrade facilities at Batterham Reserve back in 2018.

We send our condolences to Pat and the Hetrel family during this difficult time, we are forever grateful for George’s generosity and kindness to all things red and green.

JUNIOR TRAINING AMENDMENT

Our first planned junior training for U/12's, U/14's, U/16's and U/18's has been cancelled (25th August).

All other training sessions will proceed as per normal.

We look forward to seeing all our returning juniors and new junior players at pre season training.

𝗪𝗢𝗢𝗟𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗦 𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗧 𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗧

​Woolworths Cricket Blast is back for another season, and we want you to be part of it!

​This is a great entry-level program for boys and girls aged 5–7 wanting to learn the game in a fun environment for one hour each week.

​Sessions focus on core cricket skills—batting, bowling, and fielding—along with fun games. There are 12 sessions across the season, with a break from mid-December to late January.

𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁: $80 (includes a personalized named shirt, bucket hat in Big Bash team colours, plastic cricket bat, and a rubber ball)

Looking to get your child into cricket but not sure where to start or looking for a supportive environment to make it easy?
Then we have the perfect opportunity for you.

Attend our come and try days in September and learn what cricket at The Basin Cricket Club is all about.

Perfect for all ages and skill levels—no experience or equipment required. Just a can do attitude and a want to have fun. We will also supply a sausage sizzle afterwards.
