Maybe, but only time will tell…

So my first time testing the new leather F50s wasn’t exactly a positive one… though I will admit, it IS almost a near-perfect boot.

It’s just that I experienced this one issue that I haven’t really experienced in any past boots, let alone the regular hyperfast… hopefully it goes away after breaking them in or changing socks! 🤞

So, Tech-Leather…

While it’s very exciting to see the leather f50 back, on the other hand… I feel like for those of us who appreciated the fusionskin pred releases of recent, won’t be as happy about the predator… 😬

and I speak from experience… 😏 but I get it. The new version is more of a ‘modern reinterpretation’ of a classic, focusing on the lightweightness of modern materials, but still… wouldn’t it have hurt to give us the same leather for the entire upper instead of just the forefoot??? 🤦‍♂️

Did we find Boot of the Year already?! 👀

So far though? I am REALLY enjoying the new Ultra Nitro, but I do understand that it’s not for everyone…

It’s much bulkier than other speed boots and break-in was a bit of a struggle for semi-wide feet like me. I mean 5-6 hours in? I’m STILL playing them with the laces untied… 😅 Lockdown is still THAT good.

Maybe the laceless version is the one to get… 🤔 But want to know more?

How good is the new Messi F50? 🤔

Pretty good, if you ask me… a much needed improvement over its predecessor, just like the regular F50 Hyperfast 😮‍💨

However… I still don’t like it enough to keep playing in them, and here’s why… 👀

Did They RUIN The Furon?! 👀

I’m not 100% sure… but I do know that they changed what made the previous gens soo good in the first place… 😬

It remains to be seen tho, as these are just my first impressions, and thoughts change, but as of now?

Since I play majorily on AG and feel the Furon’s FG soleplate (unlike some others) is too aggressive for my liking, I think I’m going to hold off getting the AG version at an overseas premium, for now at least… 😅

So after a recent video about the heel padding inconsistencies of the previous generation’s, shared something very interesting…

and it wasn’t until I grabbed out the other boot in a recent pair, where I fully understood what he was talking about 😤

Granted it’s not all THAT dissimilar, but like I said… consumer’s deserve to know that they are getting a consistent product no matter where they are getting it from… 🤦‍♂️
