A great evening last night at the Heany Park Scout Group Presentation Night, celebrating the achievements of so many impressive young people in our community. ⚜️

Scouting plays an important role in Rowville, helping young people build confidence, leadership, resilience, and practical life skills, while developing a strong sense of community and service to others.

Congratulations to all the Scouts recognised tonight, and a huge thank you to the dedicated leaders, volunteers, and families who make Heany Park Scouts such a great part of our local community!

🔥 Uluru Expedition on our way Day! 🔥

Yesterday some of our Heany Park Scouts and Ventures along with our amazing leaders left for their BIG adventure to Uluru.
There were loads of packed bags, checklists had been ticked , nervous energy, and plenty of excitement from our scouts as our Uluru expeditioners complete their final check-ins before heading north.

Gear has been sorted, bags are now loaded, and the three “chariots” (buses) are ready to roll for their big departure.

It was an early start, with everyone up at 4:30am before a 6:00am push off towards Broken Hill, then onwards to Uluru as the adventure continues.

A huge thank you to all the expeditioners, leaders, helpers, families, and friends who have helped get the trip to this point. The planning is done, the patrol spirit is packed, and the adventure has just began.

Uluru, we are knot far away now. 🪢
