💙 MENTAL HEALTH ROUND — THANK YOU BAYSIDE 💙

The weather didn't read the memo. It rained. Nobody cared.
Because the right people showed up — and that's all that mattered.

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to Bayside to be part of our Mental Health Round. Whether you've been with us since for a while or this was your first time pulling on a jersey with Vic Masters — we saw you, and we're glad you were there.
It was brilliant to see some old faces back in the fold alongside some fresh ones. A bit of rain never stopped a Masters player yet.

Thank you to Angus and the Bayside Masters RFC for bringing the day together, and to Sean and Racing Rugby Club of Melbourne for opening up their venue and making it all possible.

A special mention to the partners of our Tom and Jason — our fallen brothers who are never far from our thoughts. The fact that you came along with your family and stood with us on the day means more than words can do justice. Thank you. 💙

To Jose from Mana Fitness Solutions — thanks for sharing the stats that every bloke in that room needed to hear. No fluff, just the truth. We're better for it.

And to our ref Dixie — who chose to celebrate his work retirement by wrangling 30 know-it-all rugby players who all think they know the laws better than he does. Legendary stuff, Dixie. Enjoy the freedom. 🎉

Rest up. Connect up. Get the check-ups.

We go again in two weeks — Friday night at Box Hill, where we join Rugby Victoria's new Social Rugby format. See you there. 🏉

RugbyFest is back — and this year it lands earlier than usual.

We've moved it to September so our players can carry the momentum straight into tour season. The Bledisloe Cup Community XV heads to Auckland in October. The Pan Pacific Masters Games hits the Gold Coast in November. RugbyFest 2026 is where it all kicks off.

A full day of touch and full-contact rugby, food, drink, music, and the kind of post-match that reminds you why you never really stopped loving this game.

Open to all over-35 players and supporters — men's and women's welcome.

Full details & a contact form are on our web page & will be updated as the event gets closer - https://www.vicmasters.com/fixture/rugbyfest26
