AATC - Australasian Academy of Tennis Coaches

20/09/2026

A look back at one of the Australasian Academy of Tennis Coaches’ earlier coach education courses in Bangalore, India, which was featured on TV2 News.

This was part of the early AATC journey in India — bringing practical coach education, new ideas and international opportunities directly to local coaches.

Since then, AATC’s relationship with India has continued to grow through ongoing courses, professional development and pathways designed to open doors for coaches both locally and internationally.

And now, get ready Bangalore… AATC is back this October! 🎾🇮🇳

We’re excited to return, reconnect with the tennis community and continue building on a journey that started many years ago.

Bangalore, October 2026 — AATC is coming back.

🇮🇳🎾 THE HISTORY OF AATC IN INDIA - THE EARLY YEARS

Take a look back at where our incredible journey in India began.

This video captures some of the early years of AATC in India, before COVID - when what began as a Coach Education journey quickly became something much more.

AATC fell in love with India - its people, its coaches, its passion for tennis and its incredible enthusiasm for learning and development. ❤️🇮🇳

28 trips later, the journey continues - and the doors keep opening.

Today, AATC's involvement in India extends beyond Coach Education. Indian coaches now have opportunities to come to Australia and gain international experience through tailored internships with industry leaders in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

For AATC, it has always been about more than completing a course.

Education → Experience → Connections → Opportunities.

We are incredibly proud of how far the journey has come - from those early days captured in this video to the opportunities now being created for the next generation of Indian coaches.
