The Casey Demons are proud to wish Gemma Meadley all the very best as she heads to the 19 & Under Australian Squad Camp at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra.

Gemma's selection is a fantastic reward for her hard work, dedication and consistent performances throughout the Victorian Netball League season. She has continued to embrace every challenge, demonstrating her commitment to developing her game while making a valuable contribution to our 23 & Under program.

The opportunity to train alongside Australia's best emerging netballers is an exciting milestone, and we have no doubt Gemma will make the most of every session, learning from some of the country's leading coaches and athletes.

Good luck, Gemma! Enjoy every moment, work hard, and soak up the experience. We can't wait to welcome you back to Casey. 💙❤️

As part of our City of Casey Community Round, our Casey Demons Championship athletes were delighted to attend the Casey Demons VFL Luncheon on Sunday, celebrating the strong partnership between our clubs.

A special highlight was hearing from Championship defender Jess Haynes, who shared her journey to Australia, her experience playing in the Victorian Netball League, and how warmly she has been welcomed into the Casey Demons family.

A huge thank you to Maxy, Rach and the entire Casey Demons VFL team for having us. We love opportunities like these to connect across the wider Casey community and showcase the netball pathway at Casey.

The Casey Demons are incredibly proud to celebrate 23 & Under captain and proud Kurnai woman Holly Stephens, who will represent the Black Swans at this week's Spirit Series in Sydney.

The Spirit Series brings together First Nations talent from across the region, with the Black Swans set to take on Fiji, Singapore and Papua New Guinea in an exciting showcase of international netball and culture.

Holly earns her Black Swans debut following an outstanding Victorian Netball League season with the Casey Demons. As captain of our 23 & Under side, she has led by example through her consistency, strength and unwavering commitment to her teammates. Her leadership has played a significant role in the continued growth and development of our young VNL squad, both on and off the court.

Last week, Holly proudly delivered a personal Acknowledgement of Country at our NAIDOC Round, a moment that reflected the pride she carries in her culture and the positive influence she continues to have within our club and the wider community.

To now see Holly pull on the Black Swans dress is a fitting reward for her dedication, hard work and outstanding character. She is an inspiring role model for young athletes, demonstrating that leadership, resilience and embracing your identity can create opportunities at the highest level.

Everyone at the Casey Demons wishes Holly and the Black Swans all the very best for the Spirit Series. We know Holly will represent her family, her Kurnai community and the Casey Demons with immense pride.

Congratulations, Holly - we can't wait to watch you shine on the international stage.

Ahead of NAIDOC Week, our 23 & Under Captain, Holly Stephens, delivered a heartfelt personal Acknowledgement of Country, reflecting on the importance of connection to Country, culture and community.

It was a proud moment for the Casey Demons as we also unveiled our new First Nations dress, beautifully designed by artist Koorrin Edwards, before taking the court against the Gippsland Stars at Casey Stadium.

As a club, we are committed to celebrating and recognising the rich cultures, histories and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We are incredibly proud to share this special design with our community and thank Holly for leading such a meaningful moment.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate our NAIDOC Round. ❤️💙💛🖤
