Casey Demons is thrilled to welcome Renae Ingles as our Championship Coach and Head of Player Development for 2027.

A former Australian Diamond with 67 international caps, Renae brings a wealth of experience, leadership and knowledge to our program.

The last time we saw Renae in the red and blue, she was on court alongside Erin Bell — a special full-circle moment for our club. ❤️💙

💙❤️ Emma Ryde ❤️💙

Foundation athlete Emma Ryde has made the decision to hang up her VNL netball shoes.

Emma joined Casey Demons in our inaugural season in 2019 and has become one of the true stalwarts of both our club and the VNL competition. Over the years, Emma has brought plenty of experience to our playing group. Emma has consistently put up an incredible number of shots week after week, proving to be a headache for opponents.

She's also never been one to hide her feelings, particularly when it comes to strength and conditioning sessions, and she's usually the first person out of the huddle and back onto the court.

Her love of a strawberry milk after a game is legendary, and I don't think anyone was more excited than Emma when Baker's Delight joined as a sponsor for our recovery food.

The greatest thing about Emma is her loyalty.
She's fiercely protective of her younger teammates, and her love for her family is something truly special.
You only have to watch her with her nephews to see how much they mean to her.

Emma, thank you for taking a chance on Casey Demons back in 2019. We hope this club has helped you grow and develop, and we hope you've loved every minute of your netball journey.

❤️💙 BEST CLUB PERSON — ERIN BELL 💙❤️

As the Championship Coach of Casey Demons Netball in 2026, Erin’s impact on our club has extended far beyond wins, losses and what happens on court.

Erin has been instrumental in creating a strong, connected and high-performing club culture, setting an incredibly high standard for what it means to represent the Casey Demons.

She has challenged our athletes to embrace an elite mindset, demanded professionalism, accountability, attitude and continually encouraged everyone within our program to raise the bar both as athletes and as people.

Her passion, knowledge and commitment to our program saw Erin lead our Casey Demons championship team all the way to the 2026 Victorian Netball League Championship Grand Final, an achievement that reflects the belief, standards and culture she has worked so hard to build.

But perhaps Erin’s greatest contribution has been the environment she has created around our athletes. One where people feel supported, challenged, valued and incredibly proud to be a Casey Demon.

Behind every coach are the people who share them with our club, and we also acknowledge Erin’s beautiful family particularly her two little supporters for sharing so much of their mummy with us throughout the season.

Erin, thank you for your leadership, your passion, the standards you uphold and the enormous contribution you have made to Casey Demons Netball.

A huge congratulations to Michelle Mashado, our very deserving recipient of the 2026 Casey Demons Community Award!

Michelle’s contribution extends well beyond the netball court, with her passion for supporting, empowering and connecting people making a genuine difference across our wider Casey community.

Through her involvement with the Women of Casey program, Michelle has worked closely with local women, helping build confidence, create connections and encourage women to become more active and involved within their community.

Michelle continues to give so much of herself to those around her, and we are incredibly proud to recognise the positive impact she has made and continues to make.

A wonderful person, a wonderful contributor and a truly deserving recipient.
