Longer than the 15th, it begins with a generous tee shot. But it's the second shot where the hole reveals its challenge. Shaped by the natural contours of the land, the margin for error narrows, making strategy just as important as distance. Choose your line wisely, and the 16th can reward bold but considered play.

If Gillian had one piece of advice for every new member at Peninsula Kingswood, it would be this: learn to love the bunkers. The sooner you do, the better.
Fourteen years ago, the conversations began. Peninsula and Kingswood each took a long, honest look at what they needed and where they wanted to go. What followed was a true melding of minds - an open-minded pursuit of excellence that carried both clubs somewhere neither could have reached alone, and the result was a facility unlike anything else in the world of golf.

Running counter to the downhill 7th, the 16th on the North Course is a par 3 that will expose your aim. Miss left and you'll find the backside of a mound that sits beyond the creek - though a well-struck shot can use that same mound to its advantage, feeding the ball back toward the middle.
But when the pin is tucked far right, there is no such safety net. You'll need to summon your courage, take dead aim, and carry the large bunker that guards the green.
There is nothing quite like a brisk morning at Peninsula Kingswood - the course still, the air sharp, and the day entirely ahead of us.

Peninsula Kingswood is home to a wonderful array of wildlife. As our members move across the course, they're never far from an encounter - whether it's a bright lorikeet overhead, a curious critter in the rough, or a reptile making the fairway its own for a moment.
One of the most common faults in chipping and pitching is a club that swings too far under the plane. Brad has the drill to fix it!
