Today we wish a very Happy Birthday to the founder of Sendai Karate Club, Sensei Kurt Klimkait.
We thank you for everything you continue to do for the dojo, for your dedication to Karate, and for imparting your knowledge and experience on the tatami.
Your guidance, passion, and commitment have helped shape generations of students, and your influence continues to be felt every time we train ๐

๐ Important Announcement โ Mizoguchi Shihan Visit 2026! ๐
We are honoured to announce that Shinichi Mizoguchi Shihan (7th Dan) ๐ฅ will be returning to our region for special training events in Brisbane at Kansai Karate Honbu Dojo ๐ฆ๐บ and also in New Zealand ๐ณ๐ฟ.
This is a fantastic opportunity to train directly under an exceptional instructor from Japan ๐ฏ๐ต
Unfortunately, Kazuo Ish*tobi Hanshi will not be visiting Australia this year. While we will certainly miss his presence, we encourage all students to take full advantage of Mizoguchi Shihanโs visit.
We understand that some of our senior members who were eligible for grading may not be attending this time due to personal circumstances. That said, this event is not just about grading, it is about growth and learning.
๐ฅ We strongly encourage ALL students, junior and senior, to attend if possible.
๏ฟฝOpportunities like this are rare and incredibly valuable for your development in karate.
