Altona Swimming Club
A family oriented junior swimming club formed in 1968. Based at BayFit Leisure Centre, Altona North.
The Altona Swimming Club is located in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne Australia. Originally established as the Newport Amateur Swimming Club in 1968 the club was relocated to Altona North in 1985. The club currently operates out of the 25m indoor pool at the Bayfit Leisure centre in Altona North and is affiliated with the following bodies:

Today's competition was the Metro West SC at MSAC. All of our swimmers today tried a new race which they haven't tried before. Well done to Irene, Henry, Jack, Cooper, Samantha and Jason.

Great to see Mark Gowan our club President & our growing club mentioned in Parliament today. Mark is the driving force behind our club & is committed to ensuring our kids have every opportunity to swim & make new friends.

Altona Swimming Club had a huge weekend both in and out of the pool.
We had 5 swimmers compete at the Melton Club encouragement meet, and they brought home the medals. The following swimmers should be congratulated for their fantastic results:
Max- 3 gold
Edie - 2 silver and a bronze
Sam- 2 gold and 1 silver
Jackson - 2 gold and 1 silver.
Well done, your club mates are so proud of your efforts.
And to cap off the busy weekend, the Altona Swimming Club had a visit from our local member Melissa Horne, who dropped in to find out about what the Altona Swimming Club does for our local community.
