The LJ Shobbrook medal represents the friendship and camaraderie between MCC and Surrey Park Lacrosse clubs. It is awarded to the player who contributes most to the competitiveness of their team without jeopardizing the respect or friendship of the opposing team.

This Saturday the medal will be awarded to the worthiest Surrey Park player after the Men’s State League game at 2.45 pm at the Albert Ground.

The photo shows Lewis J Shobbrook Snr, the man for whom the medal was named, with the 1965 Surrey Park A Grade team. He is the man in the back row wearing white.

The 2025 winner of the LJ Shobbrook medal for Surrey Park was Dylan MacDonald .
