2026/27 COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT

Aspendale Cricket Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Duckworth as Senior Coach for the 2026/27 season.

Sam joins us from Yorkshire, England, and returns to Melbourne after spending last season with Toorak-Prahran Cricket Club.

Sam brings valuable experience coaching both senior and junior teams in Australia and back home in England.

We’re excited to welcome Sam to the club and look forward to seeing him lead our talented young group as we strive for success throughout the 2026/27 season.

Tonight, our thoughts are with former committee member Krista Williams and her family following the heartbreaking passing of her mother Eileen.

On behalf of everyone at Aspendale Cricket Club, we extend our deepest condolences to Krista and her family during this incredibly difficult time.

A huge welcome to Rory and Freddie who will be joining ACC for season 2026/27!

Congratulations to both Rory Wood and Freddie Clarke on signing with Aspendale Cricket Club for the 2026/27 Cricket Southern Bayside campaign.

Both Wood and Clarke are products of the Derbyshire County Cricket Club pathway system and will be embarking on their maiden seasons on Australian soil.

Calling Regents Park home for the summer, both players will be looking to make a lasting impact both on and off the field for Aspendale.
