๐โโ๏ธ๐ธ Volunteers Needed This Saturday! ๐ธ๐โโ๏ธ
Last weekend the Keogh family volunteered together, helping create the welcoming atmosphere that makes parkrun so special. Their smiles say it all!
Unfortunately, illness has left a few gaps in this weekโs roster and weโre looking for:
๐ธ A Photographer โ everyone loves seeing the photos afterwards, and a phone camera is all you need.
๐ฉ Funnel Marshals โ help keep participants moving smoothly through the funnel so everyone receives the correct time and finish position.
Thereโs a role for everyone, and all volunteers are welcomed, briefed and trained on the day. No experience needed.
Can you help this Saturday? Comment below, email us [email protected] or send us a message.
๐ Without volunteers, there is no parkrun. ๐

๐ธ๐ท๐ปโโ๏ธ Photographer

Leading melanoma pathologist and 2024 Australian of the Year, Professor Richard Scolyer has died aged 59 after a remarkable three-year fight against the 'worst of the worst brain cancers'
Richard was also a huge advocate for parkrun, acknowledging the benefits of activity for everyone. Last year he did reach his goal of participating in 250 parkruns. Included in that were two visits to our parkrun in 2024.
We send our condolences to all Richardโs friends and family.
You can see an Australian Story episode about Richard at this link:
