Congratulations to our friends at pirramaparkrun who had 1053 finishers ahead of tomorrowโ€™s Sydney Marathon. A huge thanks to their volunteers for dealing with such large numbers, that doesnโ€™t happen easily. If youโ€™re running in Sydney tomorrow, have a blast. Only 6 weeks until itโ€™ll be our turn with melbmara.

Visit Melbourne's cygneture tomorrow but please be aware of the ducklings and cygnets. Give them space, don't get close and don't separate families. ๐Ÿฆ† ๐Ÿฆข

In event no. 703 there were 794 finishers and 41 marvelous volunteers. Well done to everyone. There were 183 first timers comprising 133 first-time visitors from other parkruns and 50 finishers completing their first-ever parkrun. 92 people recorded personal bests. Representatives of 45 different clubs took part.

Congratulations to Daniel BARLOW on completing his 250th parkrun. Since first participating in 2016, Daniel has completed parkruns at 71 different locations and earned 60 volunteer credits across six locations. Before turning 18 last week, Daniel had already given hundreds of Saturday mornings to parkrun, both participating and volunteering โ€” something very few young people anywhere in the world could match. Daniel's achievement has been made possible by his amazing parents, Andrew who achieved his own 50 volunteer milestone last week and Sarah who volunteered as photographer in this week's event. Thank you Daniel - and Andrew and Sarah - on being marvelous members of our parkrun community.

Congratulations to Heather KNOWLES, Brody HANNAN, Paul LAST and Edwin PINEDA who achieved the 100 parkrun milestone.

Congratulations to Katie ROGERS, Chloe EACOTT, Gareth HOLDEN and Grant SMITH who achieved the 50 parkrun milestone.

Congratulations to Jun GAO, Tansy GARDAM, Katrine PHIPPS, Emily KINLEY, James YAO, James ELLERY, Timothy DELLER and Claude who achieved the 25 parkrun milestone.

Congratulations to all milestone achievers. We encourage you to celebrate by placing your name on the volunteer roster soon to support future milestone achievers.

Itโ€™s great to see ABC Australia using parkrun as a measurement. Four consecutive parkruns in 13 minutes and 28 seconds each is incredible!

How long could you maintain that pace?

We had 794 finishers and 41 volunteers at our today. Congratulations to Daniel who celebrated his 18th birthday and 250th parkrun this week. Daniel has also volunteered on 60 occasions.
