Sri Lanka tour update:
After deliberation and consideration with all relevant parties, the BCA Board has endorsed the Australian womenโs coaches decision to not tour Sri Lanka in 2026.
Whilst disappointed, we believe the program is at a stage where attention needs to be focussed on recruitment and retention of international level players.
We encourage any female players to reach out to their state programs and participate in blind cricket.
The menโs program will still be touring Sri Lanka in December 2026. Stay tuned for the squad announcement!!

BCA would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank Daniel Drew for his outstanding service as Blind Cricket Australia Menโs Coach, following his decision to step down from the role.
Daniel has led the Australian menโs program with humility, commitment and a genuine belief in his players. His calm leadership, cricket knowledge and care for the team helped build a culture based on trust, discipline, pride and respect for the Baggy Green.
Under Danielโs stewardship, the teamโs greatest achievement came in November 2024 on the Gold Coast, where he coached Australia to a memorable whitewash series victory over England.
On behalf of BCA and the wider blind cricket community, we thank Daniel for his significant contribution and wish him every success in his future endeavours.
