HOT SHOTS HOLIDAY CLINIC | Ages 4–12

A fun-filled morning of tennis featuring:
- Fun games & exciting drills
- Match play & challenges
- Open to all Hot Shots players

PERFORMANCE CLINIC | Ages 10+
⏰ 1:00pm – 3:30pm
Designed for strong junior players looking to take their game to the next level, with:
- High-intensity training
- Technique & tactical focus
- Match play opportunities
- Suitable for club players & competitive juniors

WALKING THOMASTOWN 2026

We had such a great time at the Walking Thomastown Festival last night!

This fantastic FREE community event, hosted each year by the City of Whittlesea, is a wonderful celebration of our local community, and we were honoured to be invited to take part.

🌈 Our Glow-in-the-Dark Totem Tennis activation was a huge hit.
It was nice to see so many kids and families having a go and enjoying tennis under the colourful lights.

One of the highlights for us was seeing so many of our Topseed coaching kids and their families come along to say hello, have a hit and support us.
We really appreciated it!

A big thank you to the City of Whittlesea for including us in such a special community event.
We loved being part of it and hope to be back again next year.

Tiano attends his Hot Shots lessons each week and always brings a great attitude to the court. He has recently started in our Matchplay Program and is loving the opportunity to put his skills into practice.

Tiano loves his tennis, and we hope to see him representing Epping TC in junior competition very soon!

GLOW IN THE DARK TENNIS- WALKING THOMASTOWN 2026!
We’re excited to be part of this year’s Walking Thomastown Festival on Saturday 29 August.

Come down and check out our Glow in the Dark Totem Tennis activation — a fun, FREE activity for kids and families.

Walking Thomastown takes you on a 1.6km evening walk through historic Thomastown, featuring illuminated installations, live music and performances, lighting and projections along the way.

The walking route starts at Main Street Reserve playground near Gardenia Road, travels along Edgars Creek to the historic German farmhouse at Westgarthtown, before heading back down Gardenia Road to the playground.

Noah has played tennis since the age of 10 and has been part of the Topseed Tennis family from the very beginning. As a loyal West Lalor Tennis Club player, he has played all his junior tennis at the club.

👏 Meet Coach Stuart Staton

With 20 years of coaching experience and an impressive playing background, Stuart brings a wealth of tennis knowledge and experience to the Topseed Tennis coaching team.

Originally from New Zealand, Stuart picked up a racquet at just 7 years old and went on to become one of the country’s leading juniors.

- Ranked No. 2 in New Zealand Under 18s
- Won multiple tournaments partnering with Chris Lewis, former professional player and Wimbledon finalist
- Awarded a scholarship to the renowned Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida

For Stuart, coaching is all about player development. He loves watching young players improve over time, build their game and confidence, and seeing the players and people they become along the way.

👏 Meet Coach Earl Di Cesare

Coach Earl brings energy, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for sport to every lesson. Having picked up a tennis racquet at just 8 years old, Earl quickly developed a love for the game that continues to drive him today. Alongside his achievements in tennis, he’s also excelled in both football and cricket, giving him a well-rounded understanding of athletic performance, teamwork and discipline.

Meet Coach Allanna Askandar 🎾

Allanna started playing tennis when she was in Year 7 and quickly fell in love with the game. What began as a new sport soon became a passion, and she has enjoyed developing both as a player and now as a coach.

One of Allanna’s greatest strengths is the genuine connection she builds with our players. She has a warm and approachable personality, connects exceptionally well with our juniors, and shows a sincere care and interest in every child she coaches.

🎾 What Allanna loves about coaching:
Seeing players improve and grow in confidence. Because tennis is her passion, she loves watching others fall in love with the game.

Her backhand—especially when it’s on fire and she’s hitting clean winners!
