⚽️ HUGE Weekend for MCFC ⚽️

🏆 VICTORIAN CHAMPIONS x 2 🏆

On Sunday our Pre YPL U12 A HP team won the State Final 3-0. Incredible resilience by the lads after trialling most nights this week for YPL13s.

Great work by James and Gill keeping the team focused during this challenging time.

Our 12 A HP enjoyed an undefeated season winning all their matches along with winning 2 Cups:

Manningham Cup
Melbourne League

💥 💥 💥 💥

4 Titles for this incredible bunch of young men. 👏

Then our Undefeated (18 from 18 wins) U16 A HP Boys came back from 0-2 down late in their State Final to be crowned Champions of Victoria 4-2.

The fight and character was something to behold.

Jes and Bernie, you are Incredible leaders and set a standard all our teams can attempt to emulate.

The team achieved the Treble 💥 💥 💥 Winning the Pre-Season YSC as well as their League and the Victorian Final.

We couldn't be prouder.
Drink it in Teams and Families.

RESULTS | VYPL 1 Boys

Our season comes to an end with another fantastic set of results for our VYPL Boys! Our U13s 14s & 18s end their campaign in the top 3 of their respective ladders. However, each squad remained very competitive throughout the year, so congratulations to everyone involved.

We sincerely thank all parents, officials and volunteers that have also taken part in helping run things smoothly and support one another to make this another memorable year at Malvern.

The level of quality, success and development of junior players throughout 2026 is second to none and remembered fondly thanks to Horizon Pools, our proud major sponsor of Malvern City's Junior Soccer Program!
From skill-building sessions to nail-biting finals, our juniors have had a season to remember, with more kids playing, and more smiles on the pitch than ever before. None of that happens without the support of partners who believe in grassroots sport as much as we do.
As one of Melbourne's leading pool builders, multi-award winning and going 30+ years strong, Horizon Pools brings the same care and commitment to our club that they bring to every backyard they transform. They are one of the few that master building both fibreglass and concrete, and they are widely recognised for their craftsmanship on popular shows such as The Block, Australia's Best Pools and Pool Spa Life!
Their support has helped fund equipment, facilities, and the everyday essentials that let our young players grow, compete, and have fun all season long.
This has resulted in the following teams winning championships in 2026 -
- U12A HP Yellow
- U13C Community
- U14A HP Community
- U16A HP Community (Undefeated)
- U16B Community
- U21A HP Community Undefeated
We congratulate these teams & look forward to supporting them in the upcoming FV Finals Series, where we wish them every success.
On behalf of every player, coach, and parent at Malvern City, thank you Horizon Pools for helping make this our best season yet! ⚽💙

The season that was. Malvern City U14HPA - Champions!

What a journey this year has been. From navigating our fair share of injuries to stepping up with a true "next man up" mentality, this group never backed down. Every single lad embraced their role, fought for the badge, and had their teammate’s back through every single minute on the pitch.

The result? Absolute dominance. 🏆

Season Record: Only 2 losses all year

Goal Difference: 30+

Growth: Unmatched

Huge credit goes to Coach Will for his top-tier stewardship, guiding the team's incredible development on and off the ball. None of it happens without our amazing TM Steve, who kept everything running smoothly, supported by a legendary, nurturing community of families on the sidelines every weekend.

Special shoutout to Art and Conrad who earned well-deserved promotions to NPL spots

We couldn't be prouder of this group. The foundation is built, the chemistry is locked, and we're officially ready to take on U15s and go all over again!
