🏀 It’s time to start getting ready for the summer season!

Tryouts will be held on Sunday 23 August at Casa D’Abruzzo.

A quick reminder — tryouts are not for everyone. They’re only for:
• New players joining the club
• Current players moving up an age group
• Players hoping to move to a different team

Not every returning player needs to attend. These sessions give our coaches a chance to meet new players, assess those moving within the club and find the team that suits each player best.

🏀 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – DOMESTIC PLAYERS ACADEMY 🏀

Basketball Star Academy is looking to launch a new development program specifically for domestic players who want to improve their skills, confidence and understanding of the game.

Your child may already have a fantastic volunteer coach who makes training enjoyable—but are they receiving the individual technical feedback and skill development needed to take the next step?

That’s where we can help.

Our experienced coaches will focus on:

🏀 Correct skill techniques and fundamentals
🏀 Individual feedback and development
🏀 Decision-making and gameplay
🏀 Building confidence and preparing players for their next step

👦👧 Open to domestic players of all ages

We will begin with a FREE trial launch session. Ongoing sessions will be capped to ensure every player receives quality coaching, feedback and attention.

Following last night’s Annual General Meeting, we are pleased to confirm the appointment of the Epping Storm Basketball Club committee for 2026/2027.

Thank you to everyone who attended and showed their support for the club. We are especially grateful to the volunteers who have accepted committee roles and committed their time, skills and energy to helping Epping Storm continue to operate and grow.

Our club could not operate without the dedication of its committee and volunteers, and we sincerely appreciate everyone who has stepped forward to contribute.

We look forward to a positive and successful year ahead.

Please arrive on time. The meeting will be held in the upstairs meeting room, opposite reception, at The Y Leisure City in Epping.

We’d love to see as many people there as possible. This is an important meeting where the committee will be elected, and your ideas, input and involvement are greatly valued.

🏀 Looking for something to do over the school holidays?

Casa D'Abruzzo has casual shooting sessions available over the school holidays! Whether you're looking to get some extra shots up, work on your game or just have a shoot-around with friends, everyone is welcome.

⏰ 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
💲 $5 per person (maximum 2 hours)
