This weeks office. Knud Smenge’s first Australian organ. A rebuild of an earlier German instrument. Having the Positive Schwimmer releathered. It’s put up a good fight but I can finally get to it.

Sydney’s newest organ. An 1865 Courcelle ex Christ Church Kensington VIC.

This weeks entertainment is releathering the stoppers of the wooden ranks in this beautiful organ. First up is the Swell Stopped Diapason which was the worst offender for self tuning.

David is busy working on the soundboard while I’m busy with the pipes in the makeshift attic workshop.

This weeks office. Cleaning and soundboard repairs.

After a productive morning, we are almost ready to transport the Courcelle organ back to our workshop.

From Monday afternoon to Thursday evening, the organ's construction has made significant progress. The final touches include connecting a few more wires and installing the remaining ranks of pipes.

A lot of progress has been made since the last post. The organ is mostly assembled and now needs the wiring to be connected. We should have the wind up and running and the organ operating tomorrow. The first of the pipes have gone in. Looking forward to hearing the first sounds.
