One of the biggest lessons I learned while working as a cleaner had nothing to do with cleaning.

I learned that where you are right now does not determine where you are going.

At the time, I was not in the place I wanted to be in life.

But I still showed up every day with a good attitude,

cared about the quality of my work, and did my best
even when the job was not my dream.

Someone noticed.

That led to an interview, and two years later I had moved from the warehouse into the office as a customer representative.

Your fitness journey is no different.

You can want to lose weight, get stronger, improve your fitness,

or manage your symptoms without making hatred the fuel for change.

When exercise becomes punishment and food becomes something you must restrict as much as possible,

the process becomes difficult to sustain. You start fighting yourself instead of supporting yourself.

A more powerful starting point is self respect:

caring for your body today while working towards a healthier, stronger, more capable future.

You do not need to hate yourself into progress.

You need a reason to keep showing up that you can actually live with.

That is the kind of consistency I teach my clients:

not perfection, punishment, or panic.

Just honest, repeated actions rooted in care.

If your progress feels invisible right now, please remember:

The care you put into your body today is not wasted.

Keep showing up.

Keep choosing yourself.

You may be building towards a healthier life that you cannot see yet.

You didn’t become successful by accident.

You studied when you were exhausted.

Built the career.

Hit every deadline.

Performed under pressure.

Looked after everyone else.

And somewhere along the way, your health became the thing you kept saying you’d deal with later.

Not because you didn’t care.

Because there was always something more urgent.

Another deadline.

Another person who needed you.

But the harsh truth is:

PMOS (PCOS) doesn’t care how successful you are on paper.

I’ve seen what happens when it goes unmanaged for years.

I watched what it did to my own mum.

That’s why I care so deeply about this work.

You are very good at what you do.

You’ve achieved a lot of your goals in life.

But your health, your PMOS, is the one thing you can’t seem to figure out.

You’re not lacking discipline.

You’ve already proven you have plenty of it.

You just need to point some of that same energy and investment back toward yourself.

If you’re not sure where to start to improve your PMOS(PCOS) → comment “QUIZ” and we’ll send you our free PMOS Lifestyle Audit 💗

Because it’s not always about doing more.

Sometimes the thing holding you back is your nutrition.

Sometimes it’s your sleep.

Sometimes it’s stress, movement, recovery, or the way your whole routine fits together.

The quiz looks at the bigger picture and helps you figure out where you should start first ✨

Getting diagnosed with PMOS(PCOS) sometimes feels like this:

“Yep, you have PMOS(PCOS) and insulin resistance.”

You: “Okay… what do I actually DO?”

Doctor: “Lose weight.”

Amazing. Groundbreaking. Very helpful. 😂

And this is where so many women get stuck.

You leave with a diagnosis, a pamphlet and 47 new Google searches open on your phone.

“Should I cut carbs?”
“Is fruit bad?”
“Do I need to fast?”
“Is cortisol ruining my life?”
“Why is everyone on TikTok yelling about insulin?” 😭

Here’s what I wish more women were told.

Insulin resistance is common with PMOS(PCOS) and it can make weight management harder.

But “just lose weight” isn’t a PLAN.

You need to know what behaviours actually help improve insulin sensitivity and support your hormones.

For most women, that looks a lot less dramatic than the internet makes it sound 👇

🥩 Build meals around protein
🏋🏽‍♀️ Strength train consistently
🚶🏽‍♀️ Move your body every day
🥔 Eat carbs, just stop treating them like the villain
🥦 Get enough fibre and whole foods
😴 Take your sleep seriously
📉 If fat loss is your goal, use a sustainable calorie deficit you can actually maintain

No detox.

No surviving on 1,200 calories.

No banning bananas because somebody with a ring light told you they “spike insulin.” 😂

And most importantly…

You deserve more support than being handed a diagnosis and told to figure the rest out yourself.

That confused woman sitting in the doctor’s office?

We’ve coached her.

A lot.

And once she finally understands what to focus on, things start making a LOT more sense ❤️

Sick of eating the same boring “healthy” dinner every night? 😩

Here’s the truth about PCOS dinners:

You don’t need to eat plain chicken and steamed broccoli to see results.

You need meals with enough protein to actually keep you full, fiber to support your gut, fats to keep hormones happy, and yes! carbs so you don’t hate your existence.

The pattern?

Every dinner = Protein + Carb + Fat + Fiber.

No restrictions. No “clean eating” rules. Just smart combinations that work with your hormones not against them.

Save this for dinner inspo this week 🙌

Your bedtime might be snitching on your insulin 👀

And no, I’m not saying one late night is going to ruin your hormones 😂

But consistently running on 5 to 6 hours of sleep?

That’s a different story.

In a randomized trial, 38 women had their sleep reduced from roughly 7.5 hours to 6.2 hours per night for six weeks.

What happened?

Fasting insulin went UP.

Insulin resistance went UP.

Fasting glucose?

Basically didn’t move.

Which is wild because you could look at a normal glucose result and think:

“Cool. Everything’s fine.”

Meanwhile, your body may already be needing more insulin to keep that glucose normal 😬

And this wasn’t explained by gaining body fat either.

The study wasn’t specifically done in women with PMOS, so we can’t pretend it proves short sleep causes PMOS symptoms.

But when insulin resistance is already something we care A LOT about with PMOS…

sleep deserves a seat at the table.

So yes, your food matters.

Your strength training matters.

Your steps matter.

But if you’re sleeping 5 hours a night and wondering why everything feels harder…

I’m looking at your bedtime too 😂

Start simple.

Get yourself closer to 7+ hours consistently before buying supplement number 47 from TikTok.

Save this for tonight when “one more episode” starts looking suspiciously tempting 👀😂
