🦓 Coaching Update 🦓

FHCC will add a third string to its coaching bow this season with Lachie Manchee taking on a development role as a fielding & fitness coach for the Senior Group!

As a future leader of the club, it’s awesome to see a young person like Lach put himself forward and want to assist players in improving all aspects on field.

We can’t wait to see Lachie in this role and are super proud of him for stepping up and taking it on, making for even stronger leadership at the Zebs in 26/27.

🔥OVERSEAS ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

Forest Hill Cricket Club welcomes Braeden O’Donnell for season 26/27 as our overseas player!

Braeden comes to us from Greenfield CC in Manchester, England, as a left arm fast bowler and lower order bat!

We’re thrilled to have him as part of our setup this year and look forward to welcoming him to Zebraland with open arms!

VANDERS RETURNS 🚨💚🤍

With great pleasure we can announce the return of Kieran Vanderwal to not only Australia but Forest Hill this October.

Kieran left us off the back of being part of our 2024 Howard Wilson premiership & he re-joins the club after a 3 year span living in the UK.

We can’t wait to have one of Zebraland’s favourites and his lovely wife, Libby, back around Fraser Place whilst they find their feet back in Aus.

The young guns are back for 26/27!

Shiv, Luke and Sam all commit to the coming season and we are stoked!

Our youngest senior player, reigning 3rd XI Best and fairest & our 2s Batting average winner are all gearing up for a big year and we love what they bring to the group.

Can’t wait to see what they all achieve moving ahead! Cheers fellas 🤝🦓

Our 2s trio of Micky Nairn, Matt Owen & Jake Rowe commit to season 26/27 and we couldn’t be more excited!

Very keen to see what the season brings for them all as we look to go further in the 2s.

🦓 Coaching Update 🦓

Good news for your Sunday as we announce our Assistant Senior Coach for Season 26/27 as none other than Russell McManus!

Working alongside head coach Cohen, Russ will play a vital role in the skill development of our squads as we look for success across all grades this coming season.

As one of the greatest ever to pull on a zebras shirt, we can’t wait to see what Russ’ experience and excellent cricket brain bring and we can’t thank him enough for taking on the role.

The club also would like to extend a massive thank you to outgoing assistant Sam Tippet for all his efforts and commitment to the Zebras over the last 2 seasons.

At the conclusion of last season Charles Erasmus announced that his time as 1st XI captain had come to an end.

With the dust well and truly settled on the year, FHCC would like to extend a massive thank you to Charlie for his time at the top of our senior program. He took on the captaincy in 2022 during a period of struggle for the club and gave it his all to leave it in a much much better place.

Your hard-work, dedication and love for all things zebras was truly remarkable and your leadership made the 1st XI at the Zebras a fantastic place to be.

Luckily for us, Charles is not going anywhere just yet and will continue on as a great player and asset to our club. Charles leaves the role with a premiership, Ray McIntosh Shield promotion, numerous batting averages & a club champion award to his name.
