what a sweet little activity to get familiar with this awesome kit. With Lach’s new service body / canopy hopefully we’ll see him come service for us at a rally soon!

first rally car job tackled with my new ToolPro gear!
What we knew:
• Car Loud 🫠
• Exhaust Broken 💔
What we learnt?
• ToolPro Hand Tool, excellent quality and super handy 🍻
• 18V Impact, quality construction and heaps of torque 💪
Success!

Molly and Dan love the Lancer! 🥳

They had a bit of a sqiz when they came over to deliver the tools from the MaD Garage giveaway!

big ups to front wheel driven Mitsubishi brother Guy Tyler taking on the heartland this weekend 💪

Well, that’s definitely not how I wanted to start our 2026 season. Five and a bit kilometres into SS1, the driver’s side driveshaft decided it had had enough and sheared at the hub. I’ve never seen a CV go like this before, but we live and learn.

I think I’m mostly disappointed because I was so excited to reap the rewards of the effort that’s been poured into the car over the last few weeks.

Thank you to Chris at ProRally, Paul at European Affair, and Seb from Western District Car Club for all of your efforts in the lead-up and, of course, Ross for cheering me up while we waited for our amazing service crew, Andrew and Ken, to bring the trailer out to us 😂

We’re looking ahead to Ada River now, and I’ll work through the front of the car to make improvements. Cheers.

It’s race weekend! Let’s get into it 💪

in addition to the Roll Cage, the lancer is also getting a Kaaz 1.5 way Limited Slip Differential! This should dramatically increase mechanical drivetrain grip overall and pace through low grip and tight corners. I cannot wait to get this into the car and shake it down.

A HUGE shout out to Seb from Western District Car Club for helping me install the diff into my gearbox, i’ve never had one of these apart before so it was amazing to have someone knowledgeable to build it with.
