A huge congratulations to our U15 boys player, Luca, who has been selected to represent the 2026 AFL World Team and will take the field today at 1:30pm on the Gold Coast.

The AFL World Team brings together some of the most promising 15-and-under multicultural footballers from across Australia, providing them with an incredible high-performance development experience within the AFL Talent Pathway.

This is an outstanding achievement and a testament to Luca’s talent, commitment and hard work. We are incredibly proud to see him representing Norwood Junior Football Club and the Eastern Football Netball League on the national stage.

This weekend we celebrate a very special milestone as Mila, Stevie and Billie all run out for their 50th game for Norwood Junior Football Club.

From pulling on the purple and gold together as excited Under 10s to now celebrating 50 games together in Under 12s, these three best friends have shared every step of the journey. Through training, game days, laughs, friendships and plenty of great memories, they’ve always had each other’s backs.

Reaching this milestone together is something truly special and a reflection of the friendships that make junior football so much more than just a game.

Congratulations Mila, Stevie and Billie! We hope you enjoy celebrating your 50th game surrounded by your families, teammates, friends and the entire Norwood community. We can’t wait to see what the next 50 games have in store.

Mason has been an integral part of the club throughout his junior football journey since 2018, earning the respect of teammates, coaches and supporters through his leadership, determination and commitment to the team. He leads by example, gives his all every week and proudly represents everything Norwood stands for.

His list of achievements is a testament to the player and leader he has become, including Premiership Captain, multiple Club Best & Fairest winner, and selection in the Eastern Football/Netball Interleague teams to represent both Norwood and the league.

A massive congratulations to Seamus on reaching the incredible milestone of 100 games for Norwood Junior Football Club!

Since joining the club in 2019, Seamus has become a player his teammates and coaches can always rely on. His competitiveness, leadership and unwavering commitment to giving his best every time he steps onto the field have made him an invaluable part of the club.

Throughout his junior career, Seamus has achieved plenty, including being a Vice Captain, multiple Best & Fairest winner, and earning selection in the Eastern Football/Netball Interleague teams to represent both Norwood and the league. These achievements are a testament to the hard work, consistency and dedication he has shown over many seasons.
