BENCH DIPS: the "just dip a little" exercise that everyone dips completely wrong 💪

Looks simple, but it's not! Half the gym turns this into a shoulder-grinding, elbow-flaring mess and wonders why it feels off.

The technical bits that actually matter:
🔧 Elbows track back, not out — flaring wide turns this into a shoulder party
🔧 Hips stay close to the bench the whole way down — don't let them drift forward
🔧 Only dip as low as your shoulders allow without pain — depth is earned, not forced
🔧 Push through the palms and lock out at the top — full rep, not a half-hearted bob

Your triceps do the heavy lifting here (pun intended), but your shoulders will tell you fast if your form's off.
