I’m a simple man, I like what I do 🤝
Coach Callum Tuffield
Welcome to my online community. A place to foster positive change & to share the good things in life!
Mondays the best time to take action on plans and make the positive changes you’ve wanted to.
Head down bum up.
Remember the weekend is for separating from the pack.
Terrified of how that might feel in my own body 🤯
“Who’s flying this thing”
Training environment is exactly as the same suggest, everything around you not just the people.
I find benefit from both crowded and quite gym spots, each lending itself to a different training style.
Personally speaking;
Solo work is very focused, detailed and meticulous.
Partner or group training is high energy, very progressive and social.
For most people, a balance of both serves well to create an enjoyable, structured and progressive training environment.
Cold water, water wading, fresh skin , sunset …. Awesome afternoon
Thanks to the 6 people that sent me this, you made me laugh and rage 😡
Don’t lose ya mind thinking being sick and taking some time off the gym is going to make you lose all your gains 💪
You’ll lose some “feeling” , coordination of movements and some muscle fullness, that’s it.
So rest until your better, then resume training.
When you resume ; you don’t need to go FULL NOISE or FULL VOLUME.
The model I run ⤵️
1 less set & only taking organic progressions until you can complete a session feeling good, then return to normal volume & progress expectations.
Returning to training after a period away means stimulating the muscle to maintain it is very easy.
The reason you don’t bury the hatchet straight out the gate is simple; immune system suppression.
For 1-4 hours post-workout depending on the intensity; your nervous system can be compromised, especially if you’re sick…making you stay sick or get worse again.
Don’t panic , play the long game and keep conquering this cold n flu season.
This and a list of other things keep me up at night.
