Second Place Secured: Garage Grind Moves Past Swish

Garage Grind Performance took over second spot in the 35UP Category standings, defeating Swish Mortgages 56-48 in a crucial matchup of the PERIVEO Winter Basketball Season. The win gives Garage Grind a major boost as the race for playoff positioning heats up.

Moises Olano once again dominated inside, posting a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds while adding a block. Charles Ealdama continued his strong form with 13 points, helping Garage Grind maintain control throughout the game.

Swish Mortgages was led by Paul Anthony Ponce with 15 points, while Jeffrey Bacareza added 11. Despite their efforts, the duo could not carry the scoring load as Garage Grind pulled away to claim the all-important victory and the second spot.

Unbeaten and Unbothered: SaladMaster Greatness Sweeps the First Round

Defending champions SaladMaster Greatness closed out the first round unbeaten, dominating Seek Migration 95-71 in the Open Category of the PERIVEO Winter Basketball Season. The champions once again showcased their depth and offensive firepower, controlling the game from start to finish.

Jeric Rosales delivered a masterclass in playmaking with 16 points, a whopping 16 assists, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals. Marvin Samson led the scoring with 17 points, while Crisven Collado added 14 as SaladMaster continued to fire on all cylinders.

Seek Migration was led by Mark Mata, who exploded for a game-high 24 points in an effort to keep his team within striking distance. Despite his offensive brilliance, it was not enough to stop the defending champions from completing an unbeaten first round.

Rebansi Seals SP Quality Care's Elimination

Rebansi closed out the elimination round in emphatic fashion, eliminating SP Quality Care with a dominant 72-41 victory in the 35UP Category of the PERIVEO Winter Basketball Season. Rebansi controlled the game from start to finish, leaving no room for a late comeback.

John Bordz Pogi Boyose delivered a stellar performance, finishing with 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists while shooting an impressive 82% from the field. MC Polestico, Dador, and Ayi Armenion added 11, 10, and 10 points respectively, giving Rebansi a balanced scoring attack.

Joey Garcia was the lone SP Quality Care player to reach double figures, finishing with 10 points. With the loss, SP Quality Care's elimination campaign comes to an end as Rebansi marches forward with a convincing statement win.

Mighty Finance closed out the elimination round in spectacular fashion, remaining unbeaten after defeating TNB 73-64 with just four players available in the 35UP Category of the PERIVEO Winter Basketball Season. Despite being severely shorthanded, the defending champions showed championship heart and composure to finish the elims on a high note.

JayR De Leon delivered a masterclass, exploding for a season-high 35 points to go with 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal. Christopher Concepcion added 18 points as the duo carried Mighty Finance through the demanding finish.

TNB fought behind Ellie Garcia, who posted a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. But even that effort was not enough to stop the defending champions, who remain unbeaten heading into the playoffs.
