Celebrating life and love. Weddings-funerals

Hi Loves ...Elisha here 🤍

At 39, I've spent almost 20 years working in human services, walking alongside people through some of life's most beautiful, challenging, and transformative moments.

Those two decades have taught me so much about people, relationships, resilience, and what really matters. They've grown my heart, deepened my empathy, and given me a profound respect for every person's unique story.

I've learned that connection, belonging and being witnessed is everything. That love isn't about perfection. That the strongest relationships are built through honesty, kindness, repair, and choosing each other again and again.

Becoming a celebrant felt like a natural extension of who I am. I love hearing how people met, what they've overcome together, what they value, and the life they're creating side by side. It is a privilege to tell those stories and create ceremonies that feel genuine, heartfelt, and uniquely theirs.

As I've grown older, I've also grown wiser.... whilst simultaneously having an awareness of how little I actually know.

I've become less interested in doing things the "right" way and more interested in helping people celebrate their love and life in a way that feels true to them.

Ceremonies from soul, with presence not performance.

When you choose me as your celebrant, you're choosing someone who will listen deeply, honor your story, and help create a ceremony that feels warm, personal, and full of meaning.

Thank you for supporting my journey. I can't wait to be part of yours.

🤍 Elisha

Long after the details are forgotten, you'll remember how you felt standing beside the person you love."

Unpopular opinion:
1.The ceremony deserves more attention than the reception.
2.The red book is a vibe

In the modern Western world, I believe we have lost something vital. As society has shifted rapidly, we are caught between past and present. Celebrations have become curated and performative, shaped by Pinterest and Instagram, while we have drifted away from rites of passage, from honoring grief and loss, and from marking love with depth and intention.

Yet these moments are what punctuate our lives, grounding us in our humanity.

This is where ceremony comes in.

I create ceremonies with soul. Ceremonies that feel real, playful, embodied, and deeply human. Spaces that honor love not as a performance, but as something lived, felt, and witnessed.

"Are you sure you want to get married? Emily asked.
I don't know, replies James, but I know I want to do this forever."

At its heart, my work is about clarity. How we love, how we relate, and how we honor the unique ways we move through life and relationship.

A thread that runs through both my personal life and professional work is love. How it is shaped by trauma, culture, longing, and hope, and how it is expressed consciously and unconsciously through our relationships.

Andy & Michelle’s vision was unlike any other. They asked for something important but not “a wedding” in the traditional sense. No clichés. No stage. No spotlight.

Instead, they dreamed of a gathering that felt like them rooted in community, alive with conversation, and flowing with good wine. 🍷

It felt only right, since their love story began in the quiet hum of the bar. Andy pouring end of day glasses, Michelle exhaling the weight of hospital shifts over her knock-off drink. Slowly, through laughter and shared sips, something tender bloomed.

Their ceremony reflected exactly that: not performance, but presence. Not tradition for tradition’s sake but meaning woven from the moments that matter most.

A wedding that wasn’t really a wedding, yet somehow, so much more.

An absolute pleasure and privilege to facilitate and hold.

Love doesn’t just live between two people, it flows through the whole family you’ve built together, paws and all. 🐾💍 Your dog has been there through every season of your story, holding space in ways only they can. Including them in your ceremony is such a powerful way to honor that bond.

One of my favorite rituals? Inviting them to bless your marriage certificate with their paw-print.

A proud reminder that love is not just witnessed, but shared, by every soul who walks alongside you. ✨
