Ever wanted to be a knight? Now’s your chance.

We're the Ruthless Rabbits, an armoured combat club based in Croydon. Buhurt is full-contact armoured combat combining striking, grappling, wrestling, takedowns, conditioning and team tactics all while fighting in steel armour with purpose-built weapons.

We encourage newcomers to join us at Iron Oak Armoury who have beginner friendly sessions. Iron Oak caters to all levels of fighters from those who just want to get out of the house have a bash and socialise to those who want to fight competitively. The Ruthless Rabbits include both a Men’s and Women’s team that regularly train and attend events.

Non-combat roles are also encouraged to join: Squires, Marshalls, Photographers, and more! All are welcome who share the interest in armoured combat!

Winterfest 2026 saw our Heroic Hares in the list, some of our men fighting as mercenaries with ILLAWARRA MANTICORE Medieval Combat, and our marshals Kat & (newly certified!) Em assisting in keeping everything safe & smooth.

Huge thanks to the ladies from Team Kraken Gorgons, Hellhounds Armoured Combat & NSW Harpies for donning the orange & black and fighting alongside our Hares 🖤🧡

As always, this event was only possible due to the incredible work of all the marshals, squires & volunteers, who have our highest of praises and appreciation 🙏
