Congratulations to Matt Brumby, who is the recipient of the Uncle Kevin Coombs Spirit of the Games award.

This award is presented to the athlete who best demonstrated support and inclusion for their teammates and displayed exemplary sportsmanship throughout the campaign.

Matt competed at his first Games – a full decade after he narrowly missed selection for the 2016 Summer Paralympic Games in Para triathlon.

His resilience and determination, alongside his incredible positivity and encouragement for his teammates – as well as competitors from all over the world - make him a worthy winner of this very special award. Incredibly well deserved 💚💛

A fantastic weekend on the snow at Mt Buller!

DWA Mt. Buller welcomed new volunteers for New Guide Training this past weekend. Huge thanks to our wonderful trainees and fabulous trainers for making it such a great occasion.

The snow conditions may not be ideal, but we adapted and made the most of every opportunity.

Over the past two weekends, a mix of on- and off- snow training saw 28 new guides in New South Wales successfully complete their Level 1 Guide Training.

Congratulations! 👏
