We’ve been diving deep into the Glenroy Bowls Club archives. To celebrate where we came from, we’re going to be sharing some classic photos over the coming weeks.

Sharing for community awareness — a proposal has been put forward through the Pick My Park program to upgrade ATC Cook Reserve by transforming the current underused car park into a new community space featuring futsal and basketball courts, along with improved amenities.

We encourage all members, locals and supporters to review this initiative and consider having their say via Engage Victoria before voting closes on Monday 3 August.

Pick My Park is a Department of Transport and Planning grants program, where the community votes for new and upgraded parks in Victoria. 🌳

We want to turn the dangerous, unused car park at ATC Cook Reserve in Glenroy into a welcoming place to play, connect and belong.

Our plan includes a futsal and basketball court, as well as improved amenities to create a safer, more active space for everyone.

If you want to see these upgrades at ATC Cook Reserve, make sure you visit Engage Victoria to submit your vote by Monday 3 August!

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Glenroy Bowls Club member and friend, Peter Condon.

Peter was a valued part of our club for many years and will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Our thoughts are with Keira, Peter’s family, and all of his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest peacefully Condo. You will be sadly missed.

Wayne Long and Lyella Long have taken out the title in a nail-biting finish, defeating Bob Allen and Fon Allen 13–12.
