Turns out there's a "right way" to row and most of us have never been shown it. It's all about the hinge, sit bones back, hips loading before your shoulders, and finding that catch position before you drive back. Feels weird at first (Coach Sara said it herself, "it'll take a bit of time to get used to, like anything") but your posterior chain will thank you. Small tweak, totally different feeling. Come try it with us π£ββοΈ

Some showed up for their body. Some showed up for their mates. Some just needed an hour that was completely theirs.
We'll take all of it. π
She knows when you skipped your warm up. She knows when you've had zero sleep. Honestly she probably knew before you even opened your mouth π
That's what happens when your training partner's also your bestie, you can't hide, and weirdly that's exactly why you keep showing up.
If you're still following the same routine from 2020 (we see you it might be time to switch things up. Our 28 Day Kickstarter's got strength, cardio, mobility, even sauna sessions, all in the one program, with your people right there with you.
4 weeks. Proper results. Your bestie keeping you honest the whole way through.
Tag the friend who'd 100% call you out and let's get you both started π

Winter blues hitting? Come sweat it out with us this week. Better than another coffee run, cheaper than a therapy session, and you'll actually leave feeling incredible. Triple win.
Same thing... right? π

Our Coach and Studio Manager Sara has this way of walking into a room and making you feel like you belong there, even if you've never touched a barbell in your life.
Especially if you've never touched a barbell in your life.
She'll meet you exactly where you're at. She'll push you when you need it, pull back when you don't, and somehow always know the difference.
And you will learn something. Every. Single. Session. Doesn't matter if you've been training for 20 years or 20 days, Sara will give you something you can take home and actually use.
Because she's not interested in the quick fix. She's not about the 8-week glow up and then what? She's about building a body and a relationship with fitness that actually lasts.
That's just who she is. Warm, real, a little bit cheeky, and genuinely one of the best in the business.
BFT Brighton is lucky to have her. And honestly? So are her members. π€
Beginners need the soreness to believe they worked. But you? You're past that. You know what effort feels like from the inside now. You don't need the next-day destruction to validate your session. That shift from needing external proof to trusting your own knowing? That's not lazy. That's maturity. That's growth.

A few weeks into Commit to 30 and we are genuinely so proud of you all. It's the accountability. It's the check-ins. It's that little dopamine hit when you tick off your next session. It's watching each other show up and thinking, "yeah, I want to be like that too." You're setting the tone for what this community is about.
Thank you so much for being part of this with us. We're all here for a good time, and we can't wait to hear about your journeys this week. What's been the highlight so far? π
Plot twist: taking your shoes off in strength class isn't just about comfort, it's biomechanics.
When your feet are bare (or in flat-soled shoes), you can splay your toes, grip the floor, and build a solid base of support. That stability travels up through your ankles, knees, and hips, which means better force production and more power in every lift.
Those cushy trainers? Brilliant for cardio and protecting your joints during impact. But in strength, pump, hyper, or balanced? They're actually getting between you and the floor connection you need.
Seriously, though, try next leg day barefoot. You'll feel the difference.

"Now you know what it feels like" π
They're taking their Members of the Month Title very seriously!
The group chat that keeps the BFT Brighton 5:15am crew honest. Claudia, Micheala and Elissa have been holding each other accountable (lovingly & aggressively) for months, and somehow it works every time.
This is what real gym friendships look like. Not gentle encouragement. Full-blown "where tf are you guys."
