🏀 WE’RE HIRING - WEEKEND SPORTS UMPIRES & ASSISTANT UMPIRES (Aged 15 years or over)
Beatball® is looking for confident, reliable, and enthusiastic people to help umpire and coordinate our exciting range of sports for weekend guest sessions at our Chelsea Heights indoor sports venue.
This is a casual weekend position suited to applicants who enjoy sport and working with children and teenagers, and who enjoy umpiring and coordinating exciting matches and challenges.
What you’ll be doing:
* Coordinating and umpiring Beatball Sports matchplay.
* Explaining rules and keeping games running smoothly
* Sports include Basketball, Soccer, Dodgeball, Football, Volleyball, and more.
We’re looking for people who are:
* Aged 15 years or over
* Available for regular Saturday and/or Sunday shifts
* Confident speaking in front of groups
* Energetic, responsible and dependable
* Comfortable working with children and teenagers
* Interested in sport, coaching and recreation
* Keen to learn new umpiring skills
Previous coaching, umpiring, party-hosting or customer-service experience would be helpful, but attitude, confidence and reliability are most important. Training will be provided.
Applicants aged 18 or over must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Employee Working with Children Check.
