The bag behind it barely changed all year, and that is the point. The one new club this season is the Qi4D, an 8 degree head and cut to 45 inches with the Ventus Black tipped an inch. Behind it the set is settled: Srixon ZU85 utilities over long irons, P7TW blades from 5 to PW, and a 56-14F bent a degree strong to 55. The 60 is a WedgeWorks T grind, low bounce for firm Memphis lies.

Michael Brennan closes in 64 to win the Wyndham Championship at 22 under, three clear.

The bag is all Titleist and full of fitter details. The driver sole is 8*, but sits at C3, adding 0.75 of loft and 0.75 upright. New Titan shafts in the fairways. Irons stop at 9-iron and a 46-10F Vokey with the same Project X 6.5 as his irons does that job. The 54 is bent a degree strong to 55, stamped on the toe.

Michael Thorbjornsen closes in 63 to win the Rocket Classic at 18 under, two clear of Xander Schauffele. First PGA Tour title.

The bag is worth a long look. There is no fairway wood in it: an R7 Quad mini driver at 13.5 sits behind the Qi4D LS 9.0. The irons run three models deep, a P770 3 iron into a P7MC 4 iron into P7MB blades from 5 through PW, all on Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100. The wedges are raw face MG5s on KBS Tour V, the only steel in the bag that is not Dynamic Gold, TDubs in the 60 and look at that putter alignment!

Jackson Koivun wins the 3M Open at 25 under, holding off Scottie Scheffler by three for his first PGA TOUR title in his third professional start.

The build details are worth a look. The GT2 driver is an 8 degree head with the SureFit hosel in D1, taking another three quarters of a degree of loft out of it at standard lie. The iron set runs three models, T250 into T100 into 620 MB tour prototypes, and stops at the 9 iron: there is no pitching wedge, so the 46 degree Vokey takes that slot. Four SM11 wedges cover 46 to 60 with the 54 bent a degree strong to 55, and the 60 is the only club in the bag on a Project X IO shaft. The putter and the 3 wood are both new since his professional debut a few weeks ago.
