Not a marathon.

Not a fun run.

Not just another event on the calendar.

Run the Tan is a uniquely Melbourne experience.

One lap.
One hill.
No hiding.

A place where Olympians and first-timers share the same course.
Where performance meets community.
Where movement supports mental health.

There are plenty of running events.

There's only one Run the Tan.

From an idea to an icon.

What began as a vision has grown into one of Australia's most unique running events.

The seventh edition will be held in 2027. Run the Tan has welcomed elite athletes, para athletes, schools, emergency services personnel, celebrities, run clubs and thousands of everyday runners to the same start line.

Together, we've built something bigger than a race.

A community united by movement, connection and a shared commitment to better mental health.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far.

The next chapter starts on 18 April 2027.
